A few friends and I have been building the furniture and lights etc by hand for my pool room. I also would be interested in any spectator chair plans anyone might have and are willing to share. Thanks for your time

I dont have plans or have built one....

But may I recommend whatever you do it needs to be EXTRA strong. Tall chairs like those used for bars or pool tables have inherently higher stresses placed on their joints due to the racking because of their greater height acting as a longer lever.

Maybe reinforce all joints with a machine threaded through bolt fitted with a lock washer, washer, and nut.

I spend more time in the chair then I do at the table... I should know more about them...

I went a little larger than just spectator chairs. Since I have a "few" friends that play here at the house from time to time, I found an old church pew and built a 12" tall riser to set it on. Riser is carpeted and trimmed out and the pew is bolted to the riser. I'm still going to build arms for the ends with drink holders and cue holders, plus a console in the center to do the same things, but for now, it gives everyone here a place to sit and a great view of the table.

Keep in mind, I have a LOT of room in my game room. The area where the table sits is 25ft X 25ft, so a riser like this wasn't an issue as far as space taken.

It would be cool to incorporate "points" and such on the legs of the chair to make them look like upside-down sneaky petes.

Would be cool to add a kneeler on the riser that way they could pray while waiting
