Anyone know any instructors in Cincinnati, Ohio

I do not have a level currently. I played my first NAPA league match so no official rating yet. I have only played one person in the city and he was my opponent in the league other than a few family members who are casual pool players.

Check at Michaels. Mike Medley might be able to hook you up with someone reputable. Im in West Harrison. Got a 9' Gold Crown 4 3/8" pockets. Plays alot like a diamond. Come over anytime. Im no instructor, but play pretty good and can show you anything to get ya started and for free lol!

Also theres a good tournament Thursday mornings in Lawrenceburg with old coots at the Adult center. They play all levels of play and help each other with their games. Not like a typical pool room. Heres my room

I will look into it at Michaels. I've only been playing for a few months but I've been to Michaels probably 12 of the last 14 days. That is where is I joined the Tuesday night league. What time and where exactly is the Thursday tournament. I am not super familiar with lawrenceburg.

And I would definitely like to take you up on that offer sometime. I have never played on a gold crown.

Lawrenceburg adult center. Its on Tate street. We start showing up around 9-930. Start around 10. Play partners for seeds for singles tournamemt after lunch, which is free lunch, then singles after lunch for the moolah. $6 dollar entry, but you get $2 back lol. They dont want you to feel like you lost i guess lol. Just some good ole boys; Mostly retired or guys like me who have a weekday off and work weekends, or guys just bumming around. Nothing serious. Good safety play and of course Ball in hand 8ball.
 
We dont do a whole lot of 8 ball at my house though. Mostly 9ball, one pocket, bank, and 14.1 straight pool. All the necessary routines for your arsenal lol
 
Break and One...Do yourself and your pool game a big favor. Go see Denny Stewart at the Ohio Pool School. He's a PBIA/SPF Master Instructor.. It's a few hour drive, but totally worth it...it's exactly what you're looking for. Denny posts here under his own name, so you can PM him for information.
