In Antwerp , there is a famous old poolroom in front of the central station , the Billard Palace. It hosts the Horemans billard club .
There is a big billard/pool shop too (negociate a 15% discount

)
Some other poolrooms with a few tables or more in downtown, and more in the area . feel free to PM me for adresses.
Do not worry about pool, snooker, or carom in Antwerp or Amsterdam : Plenty of players you'll find ROFL : you'll travel in the most famous billard countries !!!
Be carefull when you look for action in Belgium or NL :
you can find small carom tables in bars or clubs , 2m60 carom tables , and may be even a much smaller size table called "billard à bouchon" with bumpers in the center of the tables, 2 holes in the middle of the short rails with bumpers around . This -rare & belgian - game is played with 5 white & 5 red balls , looks like a child game... hehe...
Do not believe than people who play on those tables can't be good players , else you'll remember my post for a while.
the playing level of carom players & the other disciplines in Belgium is extremelly high , even in NL, and especially when it comes to "small carom games" (balkline, straight rail, 1 cushion) , there is a little chance to meet masters & even monster players there.
believe me or not , the level of play in Belgium can be a real surprise for you , be prepared. On AZ we can read a lot about Pinoy players, because it's a pool forum . What you may know if you want action is that Belgium is far from all the country of the highest billard playing level wordwide. Almost the same in NL. You've probably heard about Korea & 3C, but believe me or not, Belgium & NL are stronger , because they still practice the small games a lot.
In other terms : Be & NL are the 2 countries where you can meet verrrrrrry strong players, and where the probability to meet masters & monsters is the highest worldwide. Small countries where almost everybody can play billard, pool , snooker....
be prepared, buddy.
