Anyone know where I can get a case for a one-piece cue?

Bought a Dufferin, best purchase ever, feel stupid lugging it around without a case tho lol I'll still look silly but hopefully a little less so. Anyone know where I can find one, or even something that would substitute as one?

Search on Ebay for it or just go to a snooker site. There is plenty out there.

You could really screw with everyone at your room; just put in a golf club bag all by itself - get one with wheels and all. Be sure u have the club head sock on it too :)

Snooker case may be your best bet. I looked for a 1 piece case for about a year and ended up having to settle for a snooker case.

Check out your local hunting stores and bait&tackle shops for long rifle cases or fishing pole cases. You can also use the cases that long carpenters levels are stored/transported in.

I know a guy that uses a one piece cue. He just made a case out of some pvc pipe with a screw on cap. You could paint it, or wrap it in some cloth you like if you wanted to.

Go to your local martial arts store and check out their cases for poles and staffs. One of the girls in the poolhall made her own case, in pink using poster tubes.

Her boyfriend also had a 1 piece cue, until he had enough and then added a joint to it.

Just a thought here, but why not let a cue maker put a simple joint in it.
Speaking from experience here...adding a joint to a 1 piece cue can completely ruin how the cue plays and feels. This would not even enter my train of thought if I really liked how the cue played. Just buy a snooker case..

The old Dufferin's were awesome! Even when one did get warped, you could bend those suckers like a bow n arrow to straighten them out without breaking them :-)

I agree. I restored an old four prong, 19 ounce Duffy house cue, installed an Elk Master tip, and love the way it plays. My "case" for it is a 5' piece of foam rubber pipe insulation. Classy. Gets a lot of comments.

This is pool, and folks have been doing it for 75 years or more. Heck, folks still do it to a Titlist cue when they find a nice one. The balls are still gonna go in the pocket, that part is not going to change one bit.

I understand Snooker is "old school", and they still play like its in the 1600's..... I mean, snooker players won't even put a wrap on a cue ?? I mean, not one player, ever ? Seems a bit odd that someone would prefer to have something absorb the sweat and/or dirt from playing ? Or some player must have been born with "sweaty hands" at least ;)

This, up there^^^^^^^^
Seems like the best option ans simplest.
You might run into a little trouble if you find a one piece break cue and what to find a case that lays them end to end

In my opinion you should either have the cue converted to a modern 2-piece, or
leave it on the wall...as God intended

Finally, a life boat in a sea of insanity.
Who in the hell would lug around a one-piece cue? Especially a really cool one like a Dufferin.
Oh, and Neil. Maybe he could drop by Bed, Bath, and Beyonce, and pick up some daisy flower, and butterfly, appliques for the pvc pipe.
