Anyone looking for an Anniversary Model?

Might anyone be looking for an Anniversary Model C-I? I have 3- 8 footers in my inventory and a guy just got in touch today with ANOTHER one and I really don't have anywhere to store it. Is there anyone interested in it? I am willing to let it go for a good price. Call me for info

Try posting in the for sale forum here on AZ or Craig's list, this is the Talk to a mechanic forum;)

I am not offering it to just anyone! I am posting this in here because I am only offering it to others in the business and NOT TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. I will store it in my friends garage(has already has 2 of mine in there) if I absolutely have to. :) Just found Brunswick model :"The Champion" art deco! Super stoked! :)

Without mentioning those details in your first post, one could assume this section of AZ was turning into the for sale section.

pics of the "champion" table? not looking to buy but unable to find a pic.

I should have been more specific! :) hope all is well with you RKC~! :)

All's well, just making sure "Talk to a mechanic" forum isn't turning into a craigs list for selling pool tables is all, as that's not what this forum is about, except for the occasianal

"hey, I picked this table up, planning on selling it when I'm done fixing it up...so if any of you mechanics out there that might know someone interested in buying it when I'm done working on it, let me know to we can work something out that we both can agree on"

type of thread needing only to be mentioned once;)

That kind of goes along the same lines as listing your whole inventory of tables you have for sale after each and every post...that list don't pertain to any of us table mechanics...and belongs in the "Buy & Sell" forum, or on Craigs list;)

RKC< I also put my inventory list on some of my posts in case another person in the business might actually need something I have on hand. I sell tables to other dealers as much as possible actually. I find it a nice way to network with other people who are in the business and it is a great way to earn trust points with others when you need something. As an example I am selling the Anniversary Model C-I that this AD is about and The Champion Art Deco( shown here: http://forums.azbilliards.com/album.php?albumid=1481&pictureid=11536 **FOR YOU RRICH1!**) to another dealer I that won't name and come to think of it I have sold him a couple of tables already this year. **He just happens to be one of the best restorers in the country.** When ever I have a question about anything I can't figure out for myself I know I can rely on him!!! So, not that you would ever need anything from me, but, let me know if you can't find a specific model of table and I will keep my eyes open! Thanks for making me clarify myself and let everyone know I am not confusing this site for www.craigslist.com. I use both ALL the time and they have helped me build my business! Have a great day! :)

Well then, maybe Ken Hash or John Burns or a few others that sell tables and parts as well should start listing everything tbey have to sell as well....so that others might know what they have too then...right?

To put it simply: I am an active dealer of pool tables who likes to show others my current work and what I have in inventory. Posting my inventory also shows other dealers what types and styles of tables I prefer to deal in. They may run into a table that might not be for them that I would desire. The site is just a good tool to network myself with other like minded individuals that either just like pool tables or work on them/ deal in!

Trent...with this statment, I think you've made it pretty clear what your real intent is here in the "Talk to a mechanic" forum is, and it has nothing to do with that sub-title, and just to be clear, that is NOT what this forum section is about. In the 7 years I've been a member here, I've never seen anyone try and turn this section of AZ into their on little private pool table, online selling site...except you, is that really all this site means to you, I mean really...can you even contribute to this site as a mechanic, or are you that stuck on being a use car saleman:rolleyes:

I have to agree with Glen on this one. It's a mechanics forum designed specifically to "talk to a mechanic" and ask and get questions answered about tables. It seems over the last year or so, it's strayed at times and that's not the intent.

There is another forum here that would be perfect for your advertising inventory:

THIS however, is not it!!

Thak you Robin, I was beginning to think I was the only mechanic that felt this way. I have nothing against Trent, and wish him the best as I would anyone else in this industry, but I feel like he's starting to go a little overboard with some of his posts, and not really understanding what this forum is really about:thumbup:

Don't need to call you, or have a phone conversation to settle this;)

Trent - why don't you read my post for what it means? It suggests putting your inventory advertisement where it's appropriate. This is a forum for discussing table concerns with mechanics and not selling or advertising your tables. You're a testy little dude aren't you????
