Anyone make a New Stitched Collar Shaft

Hey AZer's, does anyone know where to get an aftermarket shaft for an old green letter Mali with a wide stitched pattern on the collar?

OR, does anyone have an extra for sale....no dog legs, straight as a rail only, I already have one for shooting around corners.

Go to the ask a cue maker section. Lotsa guys there can do it:thumbup:

and pm Manwon, he can straighten them sometimes and he's a good guy besides:grin:

It shouldn't be a big deal to match the ring. I would post in the cue maker's section as was said.

I do know that both Shon and JOSS are selling stitch ring shafts again, but they are in 14 thread, so unless you have that it won't fit. Then there is the diameter at the joint face as well, might be off and need matched.

Best to get one made. Wouldn't a brand new perfectly matched shaft be so nice?

if you have the old shaft , any cumaker should be able to cut the old ring off the old shaft and install it on a new one..

Excellent point. I was just assuming he didn't have a shaft or wanted an additional shaft.

Preserving the original ring work is always a great option. They can do it in such a way that you can't tell it was done.

I have a whole box of extra Mali shafts, I'll check when I get home, and send pics if I have anything with green stitch.
 
Let me know if you find any in the box....can't get pictures to attach, but the collar is the same as the ebay posting below. I may have to get them made (2), but would love to find something with a 12.75 tip. Either way, I'd appreciate it if you took a look; can't strike out without stepping in the box and all. Old Mali users come out of the walls when I use it, seems they all have shaft issues of some kind.
