Efren has what they bet to gain by playin Shane. Last time I checked money is a good thing to have. Don't say Efren don't want the money either cause that's bull. If that's the case why is he even there playing in the tournament? Not to help his reputation.

Just to add the original offering was an even match. If they play and some how Shane ends up getting a spot the first set there's no bet as this bet is for an even match.

If Efren does not want to play, why not Alex Pagulayan or Bustamante instead? They are also worthy competitors for SVB.
 
it's hard for me to imagine that even if this goes through that it will be at even odds. some one will be spotted and it's even harder to imagine that efren will be the one to be spotted lol

I agree with that. I don't think the Efren/SVB match will come off myself. Freezer did say that Efren has agreed to play him one hole though, and I think tonight on the ActionReport table, he mentioned this when he was in the booth.

They are not in the DCC this year but an SVB match-up with Orcullo, Corteza, Manalo or even Gomez would IMHO, generate much more interest and higher PPV than a Chohan vs Daulton or a SVB vs another American match. I could be wrong but this is just my opinion though.

Also, there was a survey held recently in this forum about who the next player is that you want to match-up vs SVB. If I remember correctly, the result was overwhelmingly for SVB to face a top-notch Filipino player. I wonder why they are not paying attention. I am sure their PPV income will be much higher then.

Should this happen...I will bet on SVB. I am a loyal fan right now but I know Shane and I am on the bandwagon. Hopefully he gets some sleep before then. It sounds like he needs his battery to be recharged. I will send you a PM.
 
I'd also like to bet a little on Efren. We could settle through paypal if the person(s) I bet with have a paypal account. I'm going to have to limit my bets to people who are established forum users. Nothing personal, but I know that I will pay if I lose, and I want to be paid if I win. I don't want to bet through the roof or anything, but I'd like to have a little something to sweat the match with. Anyone interested, just PM me. Of course, this is assuming that the game really happens. :)

One set bet $100, or an ahead set playing even, 9 ball or 10 ball. I want no part of Efren in one pocket or anything else. Only first set. Bet's off if any spots are given, but I'll still take the bet if someone breaks for Efren.

Ok you guys have confirmed. If it be a race or an ahead set as long as it's an even game the bets on if they play. Do you guys care if it's 9 ball or 10 ball? Doesnt matter as long as it's an even game? And in the case that someone else should break for Efren, Which I doubt will happen, But if so is the bet still on guys?
 
I really hope this match goes down. Shane called it out so I don't see why it wouldn't.
