Anyone watching Curling ?

Yes. I haven't watched any of it this year because I have been too busy with other things. But yes I could watch curling all day long.

Have you had a chance to watch the World Cup (which is played as ODI format) or T20? I find ODI the most interesting as it sort of splits the difference between the test form of the game (which is the long one) and T20 which more like a football game. Regardless, it’s an awesome game once you get it.
Cricket is another game that is way more complex than it looks at first appearances. Some of the biggest fans I know are North Americans that came to the game late and are now totally sold on its intricacies. Same same the other way for baseball.

I like it cause the curling chicks are hot.
Yea, but they end up like the ones in the bleachers when they "retire".chuckle

I'll wait for the Best Of Curling Box set. Would love to see a Highlight Film with the music and commentator. Win or lose is there crying in Curling. Does anyone own Curling Cards (like baseball cards)

Yes, some own curling cards. Thanks for asking !

Topps and Upper Deck have published curling cards.

Buy one here : https://www.ebay.com/itm/3220887032...d=link&campid=5335988529&toolid=20001&mkevt=1

Does anyone own pool cards? ( a quick search found some tobacco cards from the early 1900s, and snooker cards from the 1980's ... but no Topps and no Upper deck ... and no "pool" player cards)

I read an article in one of the bigger swedish newspapers the other day, about Niklas Edin the captain of the swedish curling team and newly crowned olympic champion in curling.

"Billiard games have been one of several alternative training methods when Niklas Edin has become the world's best curling player."
(...)
"Many hours at the pool table were also part of his training to find the right feeling for speed and angles. British snooker player Ronnie O'Sullivan is one of his favorites."

So there seem to be some similarities between pool and curling...
