APA/CPA singles, May 2008 Las Vegas

As I said earlier, I'll be flying in late Wednesday night. I'll be playing in the 9 ball Championship as a SL 7.

A lot of people in my area call me a snadbagger but, then again, just because I play well for a 7 in my area doesn't mean squat. I could be lightyears better than an 8 from another region or WAAAYYYY behind a 6 from another.

But I play decent 9 ball on barboxes and pretty decent 8 ball too (I'm a SL 7 in 8 ball). If anyone is looking to practice some out there, let me know.

Okay, the misconception is that once a player is raised in Vegas that player can never drop below that s/l. This is not correct, St. Louis will in fact allow your LO to drop a players skill level but this decision is not made lightly and there must be a track record of a player not being able to compete at the higher s/l over time. If this is the case with your player then this is what you need to do:

Email your league operator with the following request--on behalf of my player (name & player number) please sent a NLA/HA Request Form to St. Louis. Then explain to your LO why you feel this request is valid and then request that he send you also via email what the outcome of this request was. St. Louis will send the LO an email with their decision so it should be no problem for him to forward it to you.

Actually I did know that, and will likely be pursuing the option. But as you said it's a thin hope. Even my LO thought it was unlikely and basically was like "well you can appeal it if you want, but I doubt it'll change anything".

We (team dan, haha) are flying in Wednesday afternoon and we have tickets to see KA wednesday evening. Im up for practice on the thursday during the day, morning or before the tournaments start.

anyone who wants it, PM me and I will give you my mobile number, text messages are the way to go when we'd all be paying long distance charges for phone calls.

My plan is no roaming and no long distance. Helps on these trips.

The Canada US thing doesnt help me. $2.49 a minute for me to recieve and call there.

He, obviously, has ball pattern problems in 8 ball, but his ball pattern is good in 9 ball .....

maybe in 8 ball he should just play rotation...... or something like that
