Apple Green Simonis

Attached is the pic. The background cloth is English Green, what I just had installed on my table about 2-3 weeks ago. On the far left is Standard Simonis Green, then Apple Green, then Tournament Blue, then Chartreuse on the far right.

As you can tell the Apple Green, whilst it could be a little more on the lighter shade, is pretty close to what I have been wanting. Just wish Simonis would have had that on their U.S. website before I pulled the trigger on English Green.

Apple green simonis

Apple green is not available from Iwan Simonis North America at this time... I can get it by request but it will take a month or so on the boat to get here from Belgium....

The people at Simonis in Chicago tell me it is indeed now available here in the states as of this Fall and they have it in stock.

Why don't you check with the USA Simonis people and get this squared away? Again, I am just repeating what they told me on the phone and on a Facebook message.

FYI,
Having Apple Green Simonis 860 put on my Gold Crown IV this Sunday, 4 March. Looking forward to having a lighter shade of green on the table since all of the other shades of green are just way too dark.

Hope you like it. I really like that bright shade of green on tables. In my opinion the green hue of the baize is one factor that makes snooker on TV really pop visually. The simonis blue may be good on the eyes when playing, but it's visually uninteresting.

Pic of the Apple Green Simonis 860 is attached. My mechanics came down from Indy today. Did a great job as usual. You might not be able to tell much from the pics but this shade of green is much better, a lot brighter than Standard Simonis Green or English Green.

I will probably alternate between Apple Green and Powder Blue from now on out.

I suggested nearly a year ago that you be checked for cataracts. Your sight is so compromised you can't even see that you're using two cool white and two warm white incandescents in your light fixture. Look at the reflections.

Also, see my "Dark Simonis" in my avatar under proper illumination. I believe LED's are even brighter, but what duh phuck do I know...

Yes, that's a piece of old standard Simonis Green from years ago. I put that over the rail when I break so I don't get that white/burn spot on the rail.

And yes Bob, I know I have two different sets of bulbs. Have had it that way for a long, LONG time.

Lighting is everything. Well, it means a lot. You would be surprised how much good lighting can add to your billiard experience.

Hi, were you able to find a dealer for the simonis apple green in the states. If so I would love to know where you found it. I think it is a wonderful shade of green for a table. thanks!
