Appleton instructional video??

It's a "series" in the sense that Justin and I plan to make more instructional videos with various players. Nothing is really in the works for the future but we should have more to come. We've got an awesome idea brewing, hopefully we can get those made. I learn so much from making these, I wanna make more!

ok thanks. In that case I will get this now. Mind sharing a little bit about the 'awesome idea' :)

If You're successfully completing these drills 'out of the box' 2 to 3 a day 4 to 5 days a week.... your game will be 'strong medicine' for your competition at any event.

Time to go work out some weaknesses in my game. Drill Drill Drill... it not like I haven't done that in a little different capacity in my previous profession. ...:D ...

Dr. Hatten. DDS

Btw... Nice Predator Throne 3 there 'DAZ'
... and Thx again AZbilliards/Predator etal for mine that I won in the December monthly AZ Gold Member Drawing...Yeah!! Still lovin it.

Just got to the table to try out some of these drills. It was an eye-opener because I could clearly see my weaknesses and position plays that I thought I was good at were clearly not good enough.
I had a lot of fun with them, and I especially like the snooker-style layout drill which is a LOT harder than it looks. I struggled with it for a good while until I finally got to the 9... and missed it straight in.
Been looking for an easy way to improve for some time now, but as Johnnie Cochran would say, "There ain't no magic pill, you just gotta drill, drill, drill!"

The drills are pretty advanced. I've been doing drills similar to some of Darren's for a year. I'd predict most players are going to get frustrated if they try to complete these as is. I suggest removing some balls and building up to the versions Darren shows.

In my opinion, this is a good thing. These drills are meant to improve your game so if you only make it through 3-4 balls now, hopefully you'll get through 6-7 balls in a month or two. That would be a major improvement that is very realistic. Good luck and thank you for watching.

i bought the download
very well done
listening to darren explain how he is going to hit the cue ball to get the shape he needs and explain the layout as he goes thru the drills was most informative
im at a stage where speed control is holding me back
i play the right pattern but get too long or short
his drills were VERY HELPFULL for me to improve that aspect of my game
overall if you just did his series of drills you would be working on the majority of skills needed to play well
once you have a reliable repeatable consistent stroke
would highly recommend the video
