I was thinking about buying a set of these so that I don't have to use the old sets that exist in my club but here's the thing, they are so damned expensive I can't find a set anywhere for any less than £140 ($213) with the most expensive I've seen being £160 ($243)

I mean they're only pool balls but the prices are ridiculous, does anyone know if it's possible to buy these balls for under or close to £100 ($152)?

All Aramith Pro balls are that same price, either look for a used set or get the Premium set which is also nice. The TV set is like $20 more or something but they are all well over $200.

Bowling balls are all getting pretty expensive too and I believe it has to do with the materials, product testing, a more informed/smarter customer plus more R & D. In one sentence you say the balls at your club are sub par but in the next sentence they're "only pool balls"............so which is it, do they matter or not?

I'm also about to buy either a whole bunch of red circle cueballs for the pool room or a nice shiny new set for myself, not sure which one to do just yet.
