I'm sure they are an OK set. They are made well, by the best company, it's just that the tolerances aren't quite as high as the top of the line balls. I have a set of premiums, and have NO issues going from my home set-up to a higher end set at the poolhall.
Let me put it this way; I have a buddy that'll play nothing but Titleist ProV1 golf balls....he can't break 90, but he HAS to play the best (and it is also played more by PROS than any other ball, lol). I can play Titleist's mid-grade ball (like the NXT - half the price), give him a stroke a hole, and come out on top more times than not. Don't get me wrong, I can play the ProV maybe a touch better, but I can adjust to a bit less spin on short/chip shots, etc. etc. etc.
Some folks HAVE to have what the consensus says is BEST (regardless of cost, or even their playing ability). If you can't have the best right now, no big deal....play with these QUALITY balls (they are, and they'll last) until you feel you need to switch (could be a year, or like me, you might just hang on to them longer)
