Are OB Cues & Shafts Taking Over The World?

does OB make shafts that fit all the major manufacturers? I just bought a Pechauer on ebay (could not resist) and am wondering if i could get an OB for it or if this is something a cuemaker would have to do custom from an OB blank.

i love my OB shafts and cues. i've been playing them for almost 6 months now with zero complaints. the ob1+ hits great, and the new rift is a sledgehammer.

Most major billiard suppliers make shafts for various types of joints. I usually buy my stuff from Seybert's. Here is a link to their OB Pro Plus page and yes they do have Pechaurer joints.
http://www.seyberts.com/obplus

For example here is an OB Pro Plus with Pechauer joint:
http://www.seyberts.com/ob-plus-pro-pechauer-shaft

It also gives you options for shaft length and shaft diameter.

thanks

so is Seyberts modifying the original OB shaft to fit various production cues
or
is OB doing this and shipping them " cue specific" to their stocking dealers like Seyberts?

just wondering if the quality would differ from dealer to dealer

If Predator came out with a shaft that was a duplicate of the original
314 including the isoplast ferrule material at the $200 dollar
range, I believe they would be on a pedestal of there own.
Call it the Predator O shaft ( for original).

Now a days LD shaft company's are running out of ideas and not
outright copying each other but along the same lines as far as marketing
and certain designs.
They all have there (testings) and testimonials but its getting harder to
believe the product but easier to convince ourselves with hope because
of great marketing.
Company's have to make money to stay in business so they keep
coming out with products that suppose to outdo there last.
All the LD company's are doing it, which I feel is unjust to there
customers.
Predator had it right at the beginning, but has chose gimmicks over product like
many have.

Yeah but the feel of my ob classic + is a tangible thing I could notice right away. That feel with the ease it provides me playing inside English is something more than marketing, to me anyway.

I do. I wish OB made a Hoppe style cue. I'd love an OB Hoppe to go with my real Hoppe (that was fitted with OB shaft)

Oh well, I will just buy a Schmelke Hoppe and throw on an OB shaft. I'll be out the door for around $5 hundo.

Royce, can you build me a Hoppe ;) 4 points with veneers, hoppe ring, 3/8-10 pin, and white/green Irish linen wrap. (I know they have leather, but I want a Hoppe to play with in the summer months) with OB Pro Shaft, of course ;)

That would be awesome.
OB could have a new line of cues calling them the "Traditional Line"
1. 4 point, 4 veneer (titleist colors), Hoppie ring, white Irish linen w/green specs.
2. Bushka style cue
3. Palmer style
etc.........................
IMHO if OB did that it would be their most popular line of cues.
