Are South east cues for real?

I certainly doesn't take much effort to detect a bit of hopeful association with SouthWest, but Ned Morris' cues are definitely nice looking (I've never hit with one). IIRC, Buddy and Shannon both use them and the ones they have have a feathered type point and are black/ white. They both seem to play OK with them.

I have one (a plain jane) and know several people that do. I personally like the hit, however if your gonna get one with much design, your definately gonna have to fork over some money for it.

Nat Greene, not Ned Morris.

And personally, I think their name is what holds them back.

Pretty decent cue

I got on in a trade one time. I really thought it was a decent enough cue. I found out the cost of the them, I thought they were overpriced.

JMHO.

For the same money, I would much rather have a Gilbert.

I saw a SE at a tourney here recently. It was the Bobby Pickle line...had a cute little pickle on the butt of the cue.

Pretty much...the cue looked cheap. I don't mean to bash it, but it did not look all that great in the looks department. Seen prettier McDermotts. I didn't get to hit a ball with it...shrug...so no idea there.

Just my opinion,

The cues are good.
He sponsors Shannon Daulton too.

Yes, they are for real. Nat Green is something of a pool superman. He owns a very popular bar/poolroom with lots of action called the Night Deposit, makes cues and just last weekend opened a billiard supply store.

The cues hit good. Some of them are pretty ugly and some are pretty sweet. Especially Nat's personal cue with ivory and diamonds in it. It's priced at 50,000 and the matching break cue is 10,000.

Are south east cues for real or are they trying to ride on the sucess of Southwest. Thanks

Donald Bludworth made a lot of cues for them too, although I read he is no longer with them.

Shut up :D

I got one that I'm trying to sell soon. Mine is with telescoping handle. Hit's pretty nice ... very thin wrap/handle section.

I don't like the look of my cue personally as I don't like the floating points. But it hits good with 3/8x10 joint.

I doubt it. I have only been there once when I visited Nat.

Isn't that was the one that was up on Ebay a few months ago? How's the telescopic butt section affect the hit and/or balance?
