Are there different types of "Natural Linen"?

I really like the look of it for joints and butt-caps, I think it's usually some type of reddish brown color. Are there different styles of it? Could someone put up pictures?
 
Yes. Each manufacturer has a slightly different color & weave. Then you must also consider the differences in flat laminated & rolled as they have different looks and each manufacturer has both. In my shop, I have about 6 different natural linen phenolics. All play about the same & are strong. I keep a variety to color match.
 
there are several companies that make it and they all make it slightly different.i think some companies even change their recipe or have a different bake time occasionally so you may have two different looking batches made from the same company even.
 
Hey guys, I would be interested in knowing a couple different sources for these phenolics besides Atlas and Prather......
 
There are numerous plastics companies that sell the linen or canvas phenolic . You will have to buy rod form . Atlas and Prather special order there's in tube at a quantity to make it economical for them to handle it . The labor of boring out the rod and disposing of the waste is a trade off . Your choice ...:eek:
 
Anyone have pictures of the different types in cues? I have only seen the brownish type with waves inside.
