Are there Gentleman Gamblers?

I'd say 80-85% of the people you gamble with aren't going to say a whole lot and won't pull a ton of moves on you, they'll just play. The money is the money and for the most part that doesn't change the way people behave. What I've seen is what happens when someone is 15 games stuck or 4 or 5 sets loser and they want to keep playing but obviously can't win at that game they started with. Lots of the people winning won't adjust and that usually causes an argument or some name calling. If you want to guarantee drama you quit winner in the middle of the session cause your heart gets weak.

Other than that you don't see a whole lot of issues. Alcohol sometimes puts me on tilt but that's whatever. In general if you are playing an asshole you knew that long before the game started so you accept that in advance.

People know who the hard people to play against cause of their mouth or attitude or both are, stay away from them cause you'll either end up sharked or with a bunch of cash and a pending trial.

I thought Borana and OMGWTF were good examples. They stepped up without having "the triple nuts" or whatever, but just a general idea of how each other played. That to me seems like the proper definition of "having gamble." There was no barking, and each handled the results of the match gracefully.

I think they both loved the game too though and that helps. They probably both felt like they could beat each other no matter what the stipulations. If you like it you can't get the money in fast enough.

I say they go to 35 for their rematch whenever they have it seems like they both got in stroke after about 30 games were played last time.
