Are you a Dealer or Collector?

agreed, i just wasn't sure how to word it. why put metal between 2 pieces of wood when it's not needed. all it does is deaden the hit.

huebler uses an plastic insert that softens the hit. a good solution that has not been expanded upon(ie,,,other materials) by other cuemakers,,,i wonder why not. you only have to be careful when joining the two pieces.

i think many just like the throwback to the piloted style. it gives variety to a collection.

jim,
the caps are off, does that make you feel better(i hope you wouldn't use purple, but you do) .

I wasn't trying to be negative or insult you with the caps, it's just easier to read. The purple is so that you know it's me and my fan club can skip over me easier.
As far as your cues when you said you did things with your collection that nobody else would I didn't understand, I thouyght you meant you brought it to old folks home to educate them or you let mentaly ill kids play pool with them for charity (not meant as a joke) I really didn't get what you meant. I think everyone who has bought more then a few cues has made misstakes or what others would consider a misstake, but remember a cue is worth what you'll pay and some are worth more to some of us then to others, IMO there is no right or wrong when it comes to that.

understandable about the caps. people bitch at me all the time about it. it's weird because it's easier for me to read in caps, and the other way around for everyone else, evidently. maybe i'll start using a color to.

I wish everyone would pick one and stay with it, makes life easy when trying to figure out who I'm reading.
