When we expand our gallery of the 1986 Clyde Childress tourney, one thing we will add are several shots that show spectators as well as one or more players. Here's a shot that shows quite a few spectators.

That's Wayne Clark of Cincinnati behind the water pitcher, but I have to admit it does look a bit like George.

Third from the left behind Wayne is Nick Varner's Dad. Nick Varner Sr.

Ok, I admit it, I wasn't there. Unless your hair hasn't changed, few of us would even recognise or even admit to it from 20 - 30 years ago. Those old pics can be pretty scarry...lol

Is this the pool version of Where's Waldo??? Where's Sharky :)

I don't think that's George, but I must admit I can't be sure.
 
Nick Varner Sr.

I have grown up around Nick and his Dad. I know for sure that the third from the left beside Wayne (or George) is Nick Sr.

Yep that has got to be Orville Redenbacher! I think I am going to go make some popcorn now cause that made me hungry. LOL

I am in that picture and I do see Little AL back left top, but what's funny is I remember the gal that was actually sponsored by Orvil Reddenbocker, good looker back then, that actually may be him!!!

Is it possible that nick varner and jamie goodwin were seperated at birth?.................lol Because nicks dad looks like jamie.........hehe:p

Who's the guy posing for the picture? Second row, second from the right. The guy is really scaring me with that face he's making.
