Arguement on Interference

So today I was playing my brother and he purposely shot the cueball in a pocket to make me shoot from the kitchen. I wasn't thinking and the ball was ready to stop so I picked it up. He said that I was disqualified because I picked it up while it was still moving. Is this a disqualification or just a foul? We're still fighting over it, cause 5 dollars is such a lot of money.

I had a whole thing typed out and then figured maybe you two should just keep fighting. May the strongest survive and then get a vasectomy. :D:D

These are just general rules, it really does depend on the game. If the cue ball was still moving on the table playing surface, then that is a foul on whoever touched it. If the cue ball had stopped without contacting or pocketing a object ball and then neither hit a rail, then it is a foul on the player who was at the table shooting. If the cue ball was pocketed directly, that's BIH or BTL depending on the game.

This is why playing ball in hand rules on fouls is so important. Then you don't get penalized for his foul. :)

between friends and relatives, this sort of thing shouldn't even be called. You don't see a lot of "automatic loss of game" rules called so if it's anything, just let it be a foul.

Behind the line is treetarded anyway.

Lol

I will do this at the bar from time to time.:) If the other player has a ball or two left in the kitchen I will scratch on purpose.(playing stupid bar rules). It always gets people pissed. I figure if I have to play stupid rules I will take advantage of them.

Is this wrong

What rules did you decide when you started the game?

Personally I think you just just decide to call it a draw, and each pay $2.50. What happens to that $5? It should be sent to one of the people who can't afford the
$5.00 increase in BCA dues...

well we ended up saying that game was a draw. I gave him 5 to 10 odds and we did a race to 5 for it. He's kinda cheap. we replayed it cuz it was hill-hill though

Absolutely, gotta teach them a lesson -- yet they still don't see how it's a bad rule.

Let it be, you are brothers. When we were younger my brother and I made up rules all time that would benefit one of us. Most of the time we made up rules just so that we had a reason to fight. It was fun then, but as you get older, you'll see just how stupid you both were being.
