Arnot Wadsworth

By calling you will get immediate attention and all of your issues will be resolved at one time. If it is inconvenient, too late in the evening to phone, or you are located outside of the continental United States feel free to email Arnot.

Apparently, Arnot has changed his business model somewhat.

He hasn't been hanging around the Ask the Cue Maker Forum for some time now reminding everyone of their Faux Pas's in posting etiquette etc. So he must be hunkering down building cues.

I guess it only took me to post on this tread my frustration with Arnot to get resolution. Only 45 minutes after posting the mailman rang my bell and my long awaited cue arrived! Go figure...... While I am pleased that I don't have to sue Arnot or take other actions, I recommend to anyone dealing with Arnot to only pay with a credit card, even if he offers you a good deal for cash. I do believe that Arnot makes an excellent cue and I am anxious to try it out at the next league night. I hope everyone else who is waiting for a cue also gets a quick resolution. Keep after him!

Hmmm

Tis a civil matter Sir, Please dont call the police! lol. Call an attorney and file a civil suit if you feel so inclined. This is not criminal. He had no ill intention when he took a deposit nor does he at this time. I dont agree with his customer service, IE=Hanging up on you. Arnot is very sick. He is NOT taking any orders right now until he completes his current orders, meaning yours I assume. If he were out to "get" anyone.........he could surely take some money for orders he will never fill. I speaka da truth!

Getting your cue is encouraging news. It means his health is improving. Arnot is an honest man and will make everything right... in the long run. Sadly, most of the time we never know when sickness and health problems will smack us in the face. There's not doubt in my mind that he NEVER took a deposit or payment knowing he couldn't deliver.

I feel sorry for cuemakers, they go though hell. No wonder they get sick, or quit doing what they used to enjoy doing. I hope you get your cash back, or a great cue. Rod.

Well guess what everybody....I got my cue yesterday. I was in shock cause I never thought I would ever see it or my money. I dont know if this fourm had anything to do with me getting the cue but I think it did. Thanks to everyone. And Thank you Arnot and I do hope your health does improve.

Actually, I don't think posting here got you the cue any faster. Knowing Arnot he did his best from the get go. BTW, I think you will like your new cue... Arnot takes a lot of pride in his cuemaking.

The quality of finish of the cue I just got is not the quality of the 3 other Arnot cues I have. The finish has several dings and bumps in the butt section.

That is bad news. I have heard that he is not making cues. His nephew or helper is. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Cues, dings and bumps do not belong in the same sentence.

His nephew Steve is making cues now. I used to shoot in league with him. Steve moved out to Idaho about a year ago and was going to resume operations out there.

Well another thing..... my cue was suposed to be a jump/break cue. Well it isn't. It only breaks down at the normal joint. No second breakdown on the cue. That really is a bummer. I guess sending it back is not an option seeing at the trouble I have had so far.
