Art Cantando Cue FS

I owned this cue and know the story as to why is has a skinny sleeve. The cue as orginally made by Art had no inlays. The inlays were added after the cue was made and sold. To put the inlays in at that point, the cue had to be turned down, which is why it is on the skinny side.

That's an interesting little fact.

To be safe I suggest you borrow the money from your mom's neighbor who pays you through a credit card funded PAYPAL account, then you open a new credit card on your PAYPAL account and send a "request" money to your mom who then only receives the money from her neighbor through a credit card funded PAYPAL account, who then in turn sends YOU an invoice through a credit card linked to her PAYPAL, who then closes the PAYPAL account and reopens another with a stolen credit card funded through PAYPAL, in turn sending her son a payment for the cue through a credit card linked to PAYPAL, who then withdraws the money into there own neighbors account, and then repays it with a credit card into their neighbors PAYPAL account, who then gives you a cashiers check for the money in which you deposit into PAYPAL but you certainly dont use that money but instead use a credit card linked to a PAYPAL account of your neighbors wife, thennnnn.....oh nevermind I was just filling in what the cat guy was gonna say next:grin:

Seriously I was interested in it when Bill had it, but had I known the inlays where done after I may have changed my mind because I am weird about that, but the cue looks sweet.....Good luck with the sale!

I know this for a fact because I know who had Art do the inlays after the fact and I saw the cue in his shop before he put the inlays and and I saw the inlays out of the cue.

Mike

I once had a cue that was a little too thin and I was wondering why and now I know. Makes perfect sense.

Thanks again

Kevin

It has been brought to my attention that the way I worded my post about this cue makes it seem that it has one orignal shaft and one shaft made by RJH cues. Only the Milk Dud tip was made by RJH cues not the shaft this cue has both orignal shafts made by Art. Everything on this cue was done by Art. Sorry for the confusion everyone and thanks to those who are interested.

Will go a little ways to meet Mike and see the cue for myself. Will let everyone know what I find out in a few days. Its been a while since I've been on this forum myself and I was glad to see Art's work for sale at a decent price. Not sure about the new tip and shaft at this time though. Any ideas on what to look for? There is no way unless you are cue maker yourself to see if the taper has been changed, but I intend to hit a few with it at the table before putting down the money. See how the two shafts compare, etc.... Thanks for any input on this guys. Any ideas are welcome.

Just talked with Bill at Cornerstone. What a nice guy! Thanks a lot Bill for all the info on this cue. Look forward to picking it up. Sounds like it will be a great addition to my game of pool. :-) Bill has a lot of nice stuff on his site too. Maybe I will be tempted again in the near future... LOL

Friday (later today by local time) is the day... heading out to meet half way and see the cue. Will post when I get back, hopefuly with the cue and a lighter wallet. :-) Should test the cue on the table as well as we are meeting at a pool hall. From what I hear, it should be a pleasure.

Drove out and spent a day on the road to see the cue. Some traffic, rainy weather, but otherwise a nice trip thorugh some beautiful contry.
Cue was in very good condition, but a few problems I could see that turned me off to it. Otherwise a very nice cue that will most likely make someone very happy and it was a pleasure to meet the father and son who own this cue at this time. Best wishes....

I was just holding this cue less than an hour ago what a beauty.
If It doesn't work out maybe we can do something. see you at HOF...
