What brand table do you have or what thickness are your rails ie. 1-1/2. Or 1-3/4 thickness. Some tables are thicker some thinner you can sometimeseasure from edge of featherstrip to edge or nose of rubber.

K66 is roughly1-1/4 with a curved profile.
k55 1-5/16 withflat like triangle profile.
Small but hugh difference.

Check out www.poolndarts.com they have some pictures
I think www.poolfelt.com dartman I think has pictures and he gives discount to az members.

Best of luck.

My friend runs pool room with 12 buffalo 9' tables (copy of GC3). Tables have some sh!tty rubber k55 profile. Rails speeding like hell and he want artemis on. In my country i have done switch from that kind of rubber k55 to artemis k66 and tables play good.

But if i done the same job with artemis 55( easier for me and table stays in original dimension) i'm not sure that results will be the same regarding cushion speed and rebound angels...

Still waiting for RKC answer. Promise will not cut buckets

Yes, there is a difference between the two cushions. The Artemis K55 profile is actually a Billiards cushion...converted to fit a pocket pool table, in which if the rails are corrected will give you the play of a billiards table with pockets, while the Artemis K66 pool cushions are a "Pool" cushion, they're at their best performance when the sub-rails are at a 1 5/8" thickness from the slate up to the back begining of the cushions at the alignment of the top of the sub-rail. The K55 cushions, because of the more rounded nose of the cushions, allows for more transfer of spin...or any other kind of english on the balls, as well as deeper impressions in the cushions because of the thickness of the rubber...for a wider variety of banks...but must be installed with a sub-rail thickness of 1 11/16" for best performance;);) The K55 cushion profile is also more flat on the top of the cushion, which allows a more direct hit of the cue ball when froze to the rail, while the K66 is more humpbacked, which results in having to jack up the cue more to have a good hit on the cue ball without causing a misscue....so, my choice is the K55 cushions.
