Thanks
That's the guy. He's a local legend of sorts among Chattanooga pool players. Just wondered if everyone was exaggerating.

Keith, I heard you used to play Ernesto Dominguez alot. Who usually came out on top when you two went at it, and did you guys play straight-up?

As far as me and Ernesto goes, we played quite a bit. Matter of fact, believe it or not, I was giving him the 7 and we played a lot of times with the 8, but it was usually on a 4-by-8 and bar tables.

We played in L.A. back in the '70s and '80s, as I recollect. He probably beat me a couple more times than I beat him, but Ernesto is still one of the best Mexican players there is today.

I see him off and on in a couple of tournaments once in a while, and he still plays very well. If I were to play him today, it would be a real tough game even, but I would play. He still is building pool tables and doesn't have that much time to play anymore, but when he does play, you usually read about him.

Hey Keith... been a while since you and I have talked. Great job at the US Open. What's the status on the book you've been working on?

Keith,

When was the last time you talked to Kerry?

I hope he has everything fixed now.

How's it going, Vader93490? We are moving right along on the book trying to make everything right. Thanks for your interest.

Stay healthy, and hope to see you and Tommy in the near future. God bless you both.

Ruthless, I know a few Kerrys, not sure which one you mean. If you can give me a little more info, I'll probably know who you are talking about.

Thanks for the well-wishes Keith. I'm glad to see that your book is progressing well. I wish I could say the same for my health, but that's not the case unfortunately. I miss playing against you guys actively.

Tommy is doing well, finishing 3rd in the Viking event this past weekend. I bought a Pechauer cue from him last week when he stopped by my home. I tried it out during one of my good days and I must say it's really a nice playing piece of equipment. The event in Savannah went well and there is the event coming up in Hinesville shortly. Hopefully you'll be able to attend.

I assume you know that the Cookie monster (Steve Cook) passed away last week?

See you soon and give my regards to Jennie.

Keith,
You are a fantastically entertaining player to watch. You add much excitement to the game. I wish you the best to come and am very happy to see you rising in the rankings. Stay healthy and clean and you are sure to come out on top. You are a one of a kind.

Peace,

Hi Keith, what player would you consider your "rival"? Not so much as where both of you dislike each other (you can include that too, if that exists), but who is the person that you love to beat, and loves beating you?

Actually, I really don't have any rivals. I've always been known as a money player, and usually where the money is, is where I like to try to put myself. As far as the tournaments go, I guess the one I would probably like to beat the most is one of the toughest ones, Efren. There is some type of energy there when I play him.

Hey Keith.... i loked for you and jen in quincy last weekend. I talked to ryan and he thought you were going to play close to home. yet i did not see your name in the results or story from it. So did you play some where. How is Jen doing. Everything is ok i hope. Maybe i will see you in rochester.................mike

Me and "Australian Pete" would like to have a re-match of our "Over the Line" baseball game with you and Tony Banks. Just adjust the game where you bat left-handed. That would make it an even game.

Hey Keith, I'm from Modesto, home of Kim Davenport...Have you ever played him for the cash and if so, how did it turn out? I can't wait until you get a book out, should be a very interesting read!

It's funny that you would mention Australian Pete. I'd like to hear from him. Do you know where he's at? If you do, e-mail me.

Yeah, that over-the-line game was a lot of fun back then. I haven't played much baseball in a while, but I'm sure it wouldn't take me long to get back in shape. But as far as me batting left-handed, I have a hard enough time batting right-handed.

I saw Tony in Vegas. He was running around the casinos, as usual.

Tell Brian I said hello. I read that Rodney won a tournament over there in Warsaw. Rodney's a great player, and I'm glad to see him win a big one.

When I was younger, Kim and I used to play quite a bit. I was giving him the 7, and the money went back and forth. He's probably a little ahead of me as far as dough. We had a lot of battles before, some good, some bad, some ugly.

We played golf, too. He plays a little better than I do. I heard that he got his eye hurt on the golf course. If you talk to him, tell him that I send my regards and wish him well.

Hey Keith,

Can you tell us what your practice routine is? How long do you practice per day or per week, and a quick summary of the drills you work on?

Inquiring minds want to know.
Thanks

Ryley

"Porfessor's" Ring Game

We sure missed having you and Jen at the Ring Game Sat. night Keith. It was a "Barn Burner". Jimmy Reid couldn't make it at the last minute and I'm sure you heard, Danny Basavich lost 25 in a row from the git-go. Danny did win the tournament to ease the pain a bit. We look forward to seeing you guys at the the spring Ring Game.............$Bill

Keith....As a player, how exotic and complex do you get, as well as other top pro's, with various parts of the game like stroke, dominant eye positions over your cue, body part angles in relationship to each other, squirt, etc. Some of these analyst/theorticians can dissect each millimeter of movement that the person or ball makes to the point where it's mind numbing and I'm curious as to what you think about while playing or want to learn at this stage of life.
