Advice?

Unless I'm mistaken they are a Canadian company. To save on shipping hassles you would be better off with Muellers,Ozone,PoolDawg,Platinum or several other online stores IMO.

I bought a 3x5 case from them and was surprised at the quality of the item for the price I paid. Delivery was quick and the merchandise was better than expected. Based on that one experience I would not hesitate to purchase there again.

Aska

I too have bought a number of cues from them 6-8. As long as you get one that has a linen wrap I feel as though they are pretty decent for the price. I had bought one that had a nylon wrap and the wrap was a bit cheesey as expeted. Mine were shipped from Canada as well if memory serves me correctly. My cues arrived safe and sound in a timely manner as well. I'd say if you see one you like give it a try.

I've bought 5 of thier cues at a discount to resell. Everybody that I've sold the cues to still has them and is happy with them. Great quality for the price.

If someone didn't have a lot of money and wanted a reliable cue I would recomend ASKA.

I can't speak for their customer service, but I have one of their branded cues I keep around as a "beater". Not a bad cue - hits like a Lucasi for a tenth of the price.

I have delt with Alex/ Askacue multiple times. Great guy to work with. Always asnwered my questions my phone or email. Also free shipping is big plus.

Bought a Schon STL from them. On time, well packaged. When I took it to get a new tip put on, the cue maker said it was an incredibly straight shaft. I'd have no problems buying from them again.

Are you looking to buy a McDermott playing cue, Break/jump cue, and a case for $360, or just a McDermott Break/jump cue and case for $360. If the latter, then you can do better for a Break/Jump cue than paying almost $300 for a Break/Jump cue (McDermott B/J runs about this).
I am just saying you could get better for less money.

Hey snapshot, I just noticed this is an old ressurected thread, I'm sure by now he's spent his hard earned dollars on the cue of his choice.

I don't know about the specific cue he was looking at, but ASKA often offers a case and free shipping with thier cues that cost over $100 on thier ebay store.

I have purchased a couple things from them. Qaulity was amazing. Shipping was super fast. Price was good to. Talk to a guy named Alex. Answered all my questions. Really nice. I received my cue and case the next day. In mint condition. Even followed up with me to see all was good. Really highly recommend them. I know I will be back shopping from them.

There are several hundred of them listed on eBay at any given time ... Don't know anything about the Cues, but it sure would be nice if the company would refrain from "cluttering up" the cue pages on eBay with cheap cues ... You can also find hundreds of McDermott's at outrageous prices on eBay ... Those guys must have money to burn when they list hundreds of the same kind of cue and only a few actually sell ... Oh well, it IS a free country (of sorts) ...
