Just got back from Atlanta, I would like to thank Dawn for a great tournament. I also have to say a word of thanks to Joe Villalpando. After I lost my match Saturday night I went over to introduce myself to him. I have read several stories on here about Joe and everyone that I have read was right on. To make a long story short, Joe went out of his way to go over his material with me. I will admit that I do have both of his DVD's and I have watched them and I did like them, but being lazy I did not use them like I should have. I will now take them more serious and make it my goal to master what he is teaching. I wish I had received that information in schools that I had attended. Thanks so much Joe, as soon as I can work it in, I am going to make arrangements with you to spend the day for some more work.

I also thought the show was a big success, had a very good turn out alot of great vendors tourny went like clock work. it was a great weekend and I will be looking towards the next one to be even better. only down side would have liked to see a couple of mini tournys for people that were knocked out early. thank you dawn and the apa. great event.

Had a great time just hanging out for a couple hours on friday and again sunday .I'm sure next year will be even bigger and better.The only suggestion I would like to throw out is it may be better for the vendors to not charge admission if you just want to browse the vendor area.
 
It was a good turn out for the market in billiards .I got to see some old friends and met some new ones. I do hope it gets bigger and add some mini's .
 
It was a pretty good event with some great games in the Pro Arena. Monica Webb played well in the final and perhaps should have beaten Jasmin in that final rack but missed the 3 ball and that cost her. There were some other fantastic matches along the way, two that stand out for me were Jasmin against Kelly Fisher and Karen Corr against Kelly Fisher. Jasmin just played outstanding against Kelly, missed maybe one ball that cost her a rack. Kelly Fisher v Karen Corr was IMHO the best match I saw all tournament, great potting and outstanding safety play.....Thanks Ladies.

The whole show was a success, especially for the first year, some people were bemoaning some little things but that's life I guess. They will get these right next year and the event will be even better.
