These "Doodles" ROCK! I've had to break up the 4 lb bag so I can keep a little in the workshop.

If I don't stop eating this stuff, I won't fit in my shop. I might start offering it instead of joint protectors. Should increase sales dramatically.
Thanks Atlas

Not that I spent very much this year, probably 300 or 400 bucks...but just curious how much you need to spend to get a box of candy?

Doodles Doodles Doodles

doodles after my south philly cheese steak, nothing like it !

Ok, I give. Someone explain or post a pic of a "doodle". I think I might know what it is, but I didn't think they were all that, so I'm irrationally curious about this.

Glenn, I think someone has said in the past it was 1g.

It is in Chicago, and if someone has the original package, I think the contact info is in that. I do not get the whole container at the shop, cause we would eat it all in 1 day. Hey while your buying...Send me a package of it would you :)

Has anyone figured out where the "doodles" come from? Contact info for the company? Are they really called "doodles" or is that the name everyone has adopted for them?

Years ago Atlas said that the candy was made especially for them at Christmas time each year. Apparently the candy company doesn't sell that particular recipe to the general public unless things have changed.

Can anyone post a picture/descirption of the stuff? I have a source that makes all types of candy and I'd be interested in seeing if she could figure out the mystery of the "doodles".

My wife is a chef of sorts... she has determined it to be puffed corn (much like corn pops cereal, but not literally), with caramel cooked topping and a few nuts mixed in.

She is working on recreating it. Yup... it's a tough job, but I suffer through being the guinea pig. While her attempts are DAMN good... they aren't a dead on match just yet.

The thing is... when she gets there.... do I sell the recipe, or just the product itself?

Just kidding... if she figures it out... I'll tell you how to make it.
