Kimber's are nice 1911's but I'd steer clear of them for carry purposes. They have way too many MIM (metal injected molding) parts which have proven prone to break. Sure, lots of you have Kimbers that run fine but I've also seen a ton of broken Kimber parts as well. MIM is just a cheap way to go...I'll not go so far as to say they are the Moochie of 1911's but you get my drift. And well...they are pretty.
