Attach Cloth With Velcro?

In sept of 2011, Thomas Cartwright of Stuart, Florida was given an extension on the patent for his new invention:

A "hook and loop" system of attaching cloth to billiard tables.

seems like it would require a pretty wide strip to keep the cloth tight?

That is the owner of Thomas Aaron Billiards. They sell the table that a customer can supposedly install themselves when bought from Sears.

nothing was mentioned in his invention about my tac strips? they are the best method for attaching cloth. You can pull from both sides for an even stretch. But I do like innovation and velcro should work

you can also use double sided tape

based on the velcro being located on the bottom of the slate it will not have as much tension and should hold fine
