Attendance At 14.1 Tournament

The vast majority of the audience was watching the stream -- either the official AZBTV stream or the unauthorized and forbidden FacePlaceLive stream(s). For the actual audience watching at Steinway, I'd estimate the peak at about 60-70 for the finals, but I didn't really count.
 
CW or Steinway charged too much for PPV and VIP seating. Just taking advantage of the few 14.1 players and fans left that are hungry for 14.1. It's a great game, but 14.1 matches need to be 150 points with today's top players IMO. Johnnyt

I'm not sure I understand this part. Only the round-robin phase was to 100 and every player got to play five matches to 100. Half of each group of six advanced to the knock-out which was to 150 or more (300 in the finals).

I think the format was fine.
 
Hello, average attendance was 100 perday which was max on seating.

Finals capped at about 130 people with mostly standing room
 
I bought the finals and the number of 1500 ppv viewers was mentioned.
Which is one heck of a number, generating one heck of a revenue.
Maybe for next year it would be possible to actually have an even
half way decent connection so we the paying fans can watch in 720p
or better. 360p is a joke in 2016.
 
As long as people continue to buy PPV from CW/Steinway, you will get the same crap stream from them. Stop buying and it will get fixed fast. Johnnyt

1080p60fps should be the standard!

Seems sad that a WORLD championship would only have about 130 people. After all, its a WORLD championship!

I guess that's just the state professional pool is in nowadays..:(

130 + staff and others probably exceeds the legal limit at Stienway. Good thing the Fire Marshall wasn't there.
