Attention all RASCHIG owners and collectors.

K2Kraze & Rubik's Cube......

Thanks for discovering this cache of Rashig pool balls. The cue ball design is intriguing
and I've already ordered one of them. On K2K's FS thread, another AZer posted that he
had ordered two of these balls as gifts for some friends. The sets of Rashig balls that you
located are really like Hens Teeth and anyone interested in a rare find, re: pool balls, had
better not sit on their haunches too long or these sets will be "Adios".

It’s the kind words and appreciation of fellow enthusiasts and collectors like yourself, Matt, that energize both Rubik’s and myself on our tandem searches for the obscure, lost or rarely seen billiard ball treasures - and our goal has been to share everything we come across.

- and we intent to tirelessly continue

Good morning, Bavafongoul. :)

Thank you for those generous words of support, sir, they're very much appreciated indeed.

Best wishes,
RC.

I am a firm believer that items for sale should be in the For Sale forum though I've seen many instances where such sales posts appear here in the main forum. Regarding K2Kraze and Rubik's Cube's posting about these particular balls, I wouldn't object if they stopped short of mentioning they are or will be for sale and just let a separate For Sale forum listing do that job.

I believe that K2Kraze and Rubik's Cube are the two leading authorities we have on collectible pool/billiard balls.

For me, I really appreciate their enthusiasm and I can honestly say I've learned from reading their posts (not just the meanings of $10 words  ).

Lastly, I have done business with K2Kraze (Kerry) and can vouch for how enjoyable and professional that experience was.

Good luck to both of you guys on your continuing quest to find very interesting and unusual balls.

best,
brian kc

Thank you very much indeed, Brian. :)

Showing off the collection and chatting about how tough it was to find a particular set or its provenance etc is really what makes this humble pastime so rewarding. Without great places like the AZB forum or generous folks like yourself, sir, much of the fun would be lost.

Many thanks and best wishes,
RC.

I can't find it, Poodle. :(

That really was the strangest coincidence! The corporate video was on Raschig's website, linked to YouTube for ease of viewing. I watched it yesterday and everything was fine. Now the video has been removed from both platforms for no apparent reason at all.

I suppose it must have something to do with me accessing it, but can't imagine what happened.

Best wishes,
RC.

So, you never found/posted the link. Bavafongoul did that:

Still no video that you said you'd find:

How bizarre, the video appears to have been removed.

Sincere apologies, Poodle, I'm at a loss to explain what has happened to be honest. The five-minute recording was there earlier, it would seem an extraordinary coincidence if Raschig inexplicably chose today to delete it for whatever reason. Hmm, I'll see if I can find another copy somewhere else for you, sir.

Best wishes,
RC.

I hope you know I'm picking on you at this point. The video isn't necessary.

I see that Raschig is now owned by some kind of international conglomerate. Maybe the video was out of date and someone monitors mentions of the company and they had not even been aware of the video. Or maybe it was a coincidence.

Maybe it was one of those maybes. Or maybe it was some other maybe. Maybe no one knows.

Hello, Bob. :)

That sounds very plausible, sir, I guess me accessing the video on their website must have registered somewhere and they decided to remove it for whatever reason. Hopefully just to update it, perhaps?

Best wishes,
RC.

Snooze and Loose ....or Gripe and Wipe.......Nothing In Life Is Guaranteed.

I'm not certain that the cue balls are indeed made by Raschig.
However, I am certain I've never seen any pool cue ball like this.
IMO, the design is well suited for practicing your stroke & English.

I posted on the FS thread that this is like a lotto ticket. No guarantee
you are going to cash when you buy one but it's worth the price of
getting it just in case. In this case, I also get a cue ball so it's a win.

There are only 16 of these cue balls available. I'm not sure how others
view this opportunity but if you just view it and don't act soon, don't be
displeased if you miss out. I know that 25% of the inventory is now sold.
I've ordered 2 cue balls and so has DJ66 so it's now a dozen remaining.

I'm not here to promote the OP or Rupert whom I've never met or spoken
with. I am merely calling the attention of other interested Forum members
that opportunities like this do not come along that often. For this, price, IMO
it's worth getting what could be a rare find and if it isn't, it's still a nifty cue ball.

Good afternoon, Mr B. :)

Many thanks for your continued interest, sir, always much appreciated.

As of this morning there were just seven ringed cueballs remaining for sale. I haven't spoken to Mr K since, so it might even be one or two fewer by now.

Best wishes, everyone.

A few pics to share of the ringed ball caboodle before they are sent out to new owners...
