It sounds like your table mechanics have done everything within their capacity. you should try to find a reputable mechanic, and you should be fine. The Brunswick and Olhausen dealers in my area are a joke when it comes to hiring mechanics, both of them subcontract to the cheapiest guys in the area.

Like Glen said, definitely contact Kim@Brunswick. She will help. Everyone of us has seen this problem before due to a bad installation. The problem with the slate cleats splitting or cracking is due to not properly centering the slates on the table or not predrilling those cleats correctly or both! The table has to come apart to properly fix but usually a easy one due to the cleats usually just bolting on.

The problem with distributorships is that they don't recieve any formal trainging, training manuals, or anything of the sort. There's no requirement to pass some kind of test to see if they know what they're doing when installing tables or anything, because there's no standard in this industry to date as to how to work on, or set up pool tables. Diamond is the best when it comes to customer support, that and they've had 9 years of working with me, or me working with Diamond, all depends on how you look at it I guess, as I'm not the easiest to work with at times:grin:

gc4

the great escape in my area has tables set up for display and no wonder they havent sold a gc5 yet!!who ever set em up did horrible..and there installer is a joker...

Take note how going public with the problem got Brunswick to jump right up and fix it. That should tell folks all they need to know and send them directly to where you would get service if there was a problem..... DIAMOND. Gregg would be on it likkety-split.

Brunswick

Call Ernesto Dominguez to fix your Brunswick, he helped me out of my Jam on my GC2 and the table has never played better. Good Luck on that problem.
