Attention John Disque !!

"Don't call him Minnesota Fats! He doesn't even know where Minnesota is!" ~Hubert "Daddy Warbucks" Cokes

"My dad gave me great advice: He said, 'Never do anything that makes you unhappy.' So, right then, I decided to do nothing." ~Ruddolph Waderone

"There have always been a few hundred players in this country that would happily swim a river of shit to play Fats for money." ~Robert Byrne & Danny Mccoorty

"In no other sport could he (Rudolf Wanderone) possibly fool the public like this. Wouldn't I sound foolish if I publicly announced that I could kick 100-yard field goals, or drive a golf ball 500 yards or do a 720-degree dunk? But pool has a public that knows nothing and a media that knows nothing. No one knows what a real pool player can do, or what goes into winning one single tournament. So - he is free to tell them whatever they want to believe, but he never beat anyone that could play. ~Danny DiLiberto

"You keep giving this clown the false recognition that he craves, and doesn't deserve, and you'll help this con-artist make a name for himself while the real players will have zero recognition and die broke." ~Danny DiLiberto

Funny/ironic these "hustlers" calling him a con artist LMAO.

They jus mad Fatty gettin that dough

This thread should be named ATTN: "Minnesota Fats Fans."

AZB could link you to hundreds of Chinese items that purchased Fats' name and they could make millions and share in the fat-man's profit.

I am certainly not the first person to expose Rudolf Wanderone as the pretender he was... It's documented by thousands of top-shelf pool players of the time... but I can't stop you from believing what you want to believe.

I think most of you just like to argue and need someone to blame for your miserable lives.

That may all be true however they don't light there comets up to make them seem important ,, are you a man or woman the latter might explain your wanting more intention

Funny Stuff

I didn't create this thread.

I have to be careful about what I say here - but it's the exact opposite of that. It was Wanderone who was jealous of Mosconi's success.
It is true that Mosconi resented it and didn't want himself or the sport of pool to be represented by Wanderone. He gave the game a horrible reputation then and still gives it a horrible reputation today. Wanderone was shoulder-hopping on Mosconi's spotlight

The guy was a miserable failure at everything he did. He was a pretender. He was a liar. He destroyed pool's reputation. He was loud and obnoxious and no one liked him.

After the Hustler came out and pool was booming, every pool room was packed.
Gambling on every table. Players wanted to be like Eddie and Fats, betting it up.
There were no tournaments to amount to anything before Johnston City and that
was just an excuse for the hustlers and stake horses to get together. Fatty was
there in the tournament and in action and was very well liked and respected. They
had a straight pool division and Mosconi wasn't barred. He did some exhibitions
during this time but that was it.He had all of the charisma of Ben Stein (Bueller
Bueller) and like Fatty said Mosconi couldn't draw a crowd if he set himself on
fire in the middle of Main St. Nobody gave a sh-- about his holier than thou no
gambling attitude and came off as a pri--k. At that point in his career Fats was the
best thing that ever happen to him.He made money got many more exhibitions
got on TV when he was way past his prime. At this time in their lives Willie
wouldn't have made a quarter had it not been for Fats. He should have given Fats
a jelly roll every time he got payed to play.

That's really a horribly sad response.

Willie wasn't the most outgoing and talkative person in the pool world. He was not good with people and was a major introvert.... a whole like like Shane VB. But that doesn't take his talent, or his record, away. Nor does it make him any less of a player than he was.

I swear to God - earned respect is going out with the phonebook.... and the only people gaining it are the idiots who don't deserve it.

You can get all the attention you want by being a loud, obnoxious fool and that's what Fats did.

While Mosconi destroyed everyone who stepped up to play him, (he had trouble with Greenleaf - only when Ralph was sober... which was rare), it's Rudolf Wanderone who gains your respect and makes all the money - not by winning or beating ANYONE... just by being an asshole.

Pitiful.

I guess you had to be around in the action days to appreciate Fats.

Sometimes a group of gamblers and road players would congregate at a room.
They'd be sitting around, talking and drinking coffee till Fats showed up.
Fats would start his show and then there would be a bunch of action tables going.
Fats called them Jamborees....but it wasn't gonna be one til Fats showed up.

Fats did for pool players what Ali did for boxers....he spoke for them.
...and a lot of gamblers appreciated him.

Not everybody liked him...my friend Danny D disliked him...George Fels also.
....Danny didn't think a whole lot of Mosconi either....Willie didn't do a lot for the game...
....only for himself.

Fats did more for the game than Willie ...even before he became famous.
...and unlike Willie, he was known for his generosity.

I thought Jimmy Mataya could've picked up Fatty's mantle...he had the charisma and
gift of gab.....but he went on to other things.

Still amazes me that Justin, Disque and Chump still post separately.

Still amazes me that the mods haven't caught on that Justin, Disque and Chump are the same poster.

They have access to our IP addresses.

ATTN: Mark Wilson.... (Check them).

I'm not sure which Justin you're referring-to. (There's a bunch of them and I am none of them).

This PoolChump guy sits here all day and night watching my post history and posts the same stupid post after every-time I comment on a thread. (Usually within seconds).

It is literally FREAKY.

He/she has an issue with me using colors and over-size fonts. (Why?... I don't know, but the more he whines about it - the more I do it.)

Miserable lives?
Look at you sitting there in that cheap suit that's two sizes too big. Where did you get that thing? I'll bet it's self-folding.
Looks like you've dug yourself a pretty deep hole here on the forum, and I don't think your ladder is going to be long enough to get you out. At least not in the foreseeable future.
You're already on a lot of peoples ignore list, and rightfully so.
Suit and cues likely from the same store...

The guy has a thread on here asking people for their incite on sharking (or the best ways to distract your opponent while he/she is shooting).

At the same time - the guy has been stalking me all over the net and obsessing on me and he's not the only one.

I can get him all the action he ever dreamed of but people who resort to this level of non-play are usually broke and I simply DO NOT play pool with people like this. I don't need his nickles and dimes and I don't like him as a person.

Are you talking about me, John Disque? If so, can you PLEASE direct me to that thread I started asking people for .... um... insight on sharking??? It doesn't exist, you know, like the person who stole your identity?

What level of non-play are you referring to? If you are scared, say you're scared All I'm reading from you is deflection.

You've slandered me enough, sir. I don't shark at all. I just played a tourney on Saturday with some big names in it down in Jacksonville and had a great time. I sat there the whole time motionless and played my best....against some of the best, and I promise to do the same for you.I'm a veteran and I've been blessed to have good health and a steady job that I love doing. I get paid well considering the state of the economy. Zero to 460k is within my range if you get my drift.

You're new here, so the sad thing is you're gonna come across two certainties in this forum. One: don't do that. And two: you might not know half as much as what you think about pool. This much has become ever increasingly evident every time your booger hooks touch that keyboard.

**Mic Drop**

Now, a word from our sponsor....

I didn't create this thread.

No you didn't..This thread was created to expose you for the pool ignoramus that you are!..Thus far, it appears you have convinced the entire forum that is a fact! ;)..The only thing you have been right about so far, is your signature line, but it should be emboldened in color like the rest of your illiterate, childish rants..-->

"You are SOOOOOO right: I is a stupit idiot and you is a wizard-genious" :yeah:

PS..BTW, Fats made more money in one year endorsing things, than your whole family made in their entire lives combined!
