Quick question for everybody. I haven't been very active in the forum for about a year now, and am getting ready to have 2 new shafts made. I was just wondering if there were any new "amazing" tips that I should try.

I am currently using UltraSkin HH on both my current shafts and am quite happy. Just didn't know if there were any other HARD tips that still play well.

I am likely to just continue using the US HH, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing out on anything.

G2 Hard, I like them better than the original Moori's, truly a great tip.

Just got the Zan Grip Hard installed, really really like this tip. No glazing so far from about two weeks play and no miscues. I used to run a Kamui Black Med, I like this better.

Kamui

The hardest tip I play with is a Kamui Black Medium. I will try some other hard tips some day when my supply of Kamui tips is gone. Maybe a Ki Tech or G2.

It seems like I am alone on this, but I really like the Predator Hard tip. I've tried the Kamui Blacks, glaze early and I miss-cue. Tried the UltraSkins, Moori's, a few others, but keep coming back to the Predator. It isn't rock hard, but for me they are the best combination of feel, grip, and spin for me. The closest I've come to these for cheaper is a milk-dud tip that I purchased from someone on this site. (pooldawg8) I'm not sure if he's still selling them or not. I should also add that I bought a shaft used with a soft black tip on it. I cut it down to about the last layer, and it wasn't too bad.

Another vote for the Zan Grip-Hard. Amazing tip. Feels harder than anything i've used before, but holds chalk and doesn't miscue unless you hit it bad. And man does it hold its shape. I always use hard tips but still have to reshape from a dime once in a while because the center has gotten a little flat. Not on the Zan. I just scuff it once in a while and it's good to go.

I have used a Navigator (Japan) Hard tip for the past 2 months, the hit is consistent, holds shape well but I did lose some slow extreme english shots that I shouldn't be playing anyways.

Try one of ours...

Try one of ours. They play awesome, and are a fraction of the price, as compared to others. Here are two pics of two recent installs. (Pics Provided by Marty J out of Plano, TX). Thanks for checking us out.

Saga water buffalo tips on sale right now for $1 I believe at Seyberts they're normally $5.95, can't beat that just try them out.

I'm using a Ki Tech hard with Russian magic chalk..
Its a great combination.

This is the same exact combination I am using at the moment. This is my 2nd Ki Tech hard as the first one is on my custom Joss shaft and I immediately had my spare hard tip put on my recently purchased 30inch OB Plus Pro shaft.

No better tips on the market
