I just moved back home (temporarily) to Muncie from Bloomington. I haven't lived here in quite some time, and I haven't played pool here in even longer. What places to play are still around? I know a couple of the old places I went to are closed. Also, any place where I have a better than 50 percent chance of coming out alive would be nice.

Go to Breakers...

Breakers Billiards is the only place I go when I'm in town...they have 2 nine footers and lots of bar tracks. It's where the old Dunham's sporting goods used to be on White River Blvd...btw, it's very clean and safe.

Here's the number (765) 741-8019

I like breakers as well.

Sunday around 5 there is a tournament at Embassy Billiards over in alexandria. Couple three or four az folks playing there sundays.

10 bucks to enter plus calcutta if my memory is right. Nice room as well.

Welcome StraightPoolIU! Felix Lukenbill and my husband and I own Breaker's and want to invite you down for some pool! I'm here every day (when not playing tournaments) and would love a new partner (practice partner, that is!). If you come during the day, ask for Tammie. If you come at night, ask for Troy. We have a handicapped tournament on Thursday nights (no top players allowed). We have leagues and also have a poker room in the front, if you like that.

We have a Diamond table set up with the IPT cloth and the Sardo Rack. The IPT balls will be coming soon. You can check it out.

Anyway, welcome to Muncie and come see us.

Can I play too? I need to practice some too. I tired of playing pool by myself. Just kidding. I am gonna come out and play some with you Tammie. Need to play that slow cloth and develope some stroke. Breakers is the only real pool room around. And it's safe.

Thanks Cubswim. I been looking for some tournaments a little closer to home. I need to play against some different people.

YOU can get played anytime!! Big Boy. Have been working on a new break... hehe. Do you happen to have a blue dot cueball or any real light ball besides valley ball? If so, can I borrow it?

Yea right!!!!!!!!

If I really thought I had any chance, I'd be there every day. I keep hearing that 6 ball, but it never materializes. I know I don't have enough patience to play one pocket with you. 8-ball is toss and you can't play bank with me. So I guess I'll stay home and practice by myself.
I will be out soon. If you learned that break from Troy, it won't work. I been playing pool with him for 20 years and he only made a ball on the break 6 or maybe 7 times. HA HA !!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't have a blue dot anymore, but I'll look thru what I have. I've still got 2 mud-balls, 2 red circles, and 2 of the new Aramith, and a couple others in the drawer. Is that what they're using? A light weight? UUUGGGGHHHHHHH No wonder no-one can get a ball to the rail.
I need to find out if Troy is going to Louisville too. I'll stop and see you. Sam
