How many times did you lose your watch, cue stick, car and stuff?. Maybe he has the wrong guy after all. Hell I would have tried to keep my car too, if I could have. That used to be an old hustle around here anyway. You put up your title and keep possession of the vehicle. Then apply for a duplicate title as though you lost the original, so the loaner of the money takes a screwing once again

PS..And even though he brags a lot, at least CJ used to be able to play a little ! (well, some games, anyway)

I've heard all different names for us lower level players from the pro level. So you walk in the pool hall and you see me playing! You watch me break and run a rack. I break again get a ball in, play a safe,get BIH and run out! Break and another ball with an open shot but miss a medium difficult shot! So you ask some people about my game and they say "yeah, Eli is ok, B+ maybe break in into the A's"! What's the first comment in your head,,,,,, "aahhh, just another banger"??

I remember Big Jeff Sparks from watching him play all the Mexican champions on the bar tables at Daisy Mae's. He held his own but they got him in the end. I also saw him play Kenny Anderson and rob him, and Kenny was a decent shortstop. I think it was at the Tropicana Bowl on a big table. Jeff had a really powerful break. I always wondered what happened to him.

It seems everyone except Dick remembers Jeff.... I guess if I emptied out, then bet my car, then air barreled the car, I might want to forget that too!!!:grin-square:

Oh, wait for them to tell you that all of Freddy's friends keep attacking him at 1P.org.... too funny. SDJ and I were having a conversation and he needs to bring up Freddy again, and insult him. Freddy was NOT part of the discussion we were having, but as soon as I disagree with him, then Freddy is called out as "inbred" like all Chicagoans. Nothing like dipping back into the "I hate Freddy" comments even after he died ???

RJ, That is one of your phoniest accusations, even for you !...Like almost everything else you say, you don't have a clue about Freddy and I's actual relationship.. As I have said before, you guy's who were turned out in Bensinger's, use the word "hate" like it was a badge of honor !!!..Get a life, before its too late !

I met SJD at the 2011 US One Pocket in Vegas and he was a pleasant and interesting guy with an Irish sense of humor. Sure, he had a weakness for baiting the Chicago guys on onepocket.org a little, but it was always in a humorous vein. I even sparred a bit with him and it was quite entertaining.

Has anybody thought to show the new guy a picture of Dick from back then and see if it's the same guy he busted?
I don't really give a shit at this point, but it might clear a few things up.
I don't know if it was a great idea to say in your first post on a site, that you busted a living legend and he stiffed you for a car ,and not think there will be some repercussions , who knows, maybe that's the idea.
Whatever is going on , at least make sure both people are who the other thinks they are.
Just my thought on the subject .

Thank you D-man..I only bait goofballs like Bunter and Mr.3-IQ, for my own amusement..Everything I say, sails right over their heads anyway !..Bunter's idea of "entertainment", is watching Mr.3-IQ misspell every other word in his text, while he sets up 3 cushion shots, on a one pocket site !.. And 3-IQ is the only one who laughs at Bunt-head's 'hilarious' schoolyard ramblings and weak pictures !....A match made in heaven, they truly deserve each other.

I believe in leaving the dead alone too but when certain things are repeatedly thrown in your face that can be impossible.

He comes across here as a bit acerbic but that's only because he doesn't sugar-coat things or give a wit about how others perceive him. I'm guessing that if you brought back other famous hustlers of his era and put them in front of a computer they'd appear exactly the same and laugh their asses off at all the "delicate flowers" here.

And that's what doesn't come across on line. And I will tell you this: I met SJD at the same event in 2011 in Vegas and we briefly talked about Freddy and he spoke of him in a friendly, joking way -- zero animosity. I spoke to Freddy one year at Red Shoes about the same time about SJD and the hate and venom were palpable.

Nope. He's always brought him up first. I can't even figure out how I could do it. "Oh, by the way, Freddy thinks your a putz"... nope, never happened. I told SJD before that Freddy was campaigning for his HOF, and called me personally to vote for him. So, there is not much I can say using the Freddy card.

I'm sure SJD and Freddy are a lot more alike that either would have ever admitted too :wink:
