I have a small collection about fifty mostly hall of famers how can I find out what they are worth they are not for sale thanks for any help

If they're not for sale, who cares what someone else values them at? I wish I had that collection!

What they are worth in terms of market value is the highest price someone is willing to pay for them at a given time- that being said, put one listing on ebay for your entire collection and ask for Best offers, no need to accept any- but your highest offer is what they are worth that day.

only worth much if they are dead. alive autographs have little value especially pool players.

and for any real value each one needs to be authenticated as real.

the balls may be worth more than the signatures.

I would tend to agree.

I've got a decent collection of autographed balls and find most can be purchased for $50-150 on average even for the famous players who passed away. For instance look at Willie Mosconi who signed thousands of balls in sets at a time typically sell for $75-100. So again it would depend on who the player was and how many signed balls are on the market. Go to EBay and look at competed auctions to see what people have actually paid and lastly contact a auction house to see who they use for appraisals.

just curious what hof players you have? thanks dtb:smile:

I think I've got around 35 or so. Most of them are more popular players from the late 80's to early 90's. Mosconi, McCready, Archer, Mataya, Mizerak, Massey, and Strickland to name a few. I have a good friend with a sports memorabilia store that would get them for me. Like I said there isn't much value with any of them from what I've seen.

any of yours for sale?

No they're not for sale. Like I said there doesn't seem to be much value with any of them from what I've seen. A quick search on FleaBay showed most seling for cheap. Here was an auction for Buddy Hall and Jeanette Lee and they sold for $25.
