So last night while I am up at Kolby's playing in my straight pool league Scott Frost and Corey Deuel decided to match up in some one pocket even.

1st set they played 5 ahead for $1000 and Corey won in just under 2 hours.

2nd set they played 4 ahead for $1000 and Corey won in about 3.5 hours.

Watching these guys play was just awesome. Corey made some of the most amazing shots I have ever seen. He was going for and making some of the sickest cuts, banks and combos. Scott also brought some sick shots but he got out played last night. At one point in the 2nd set Scott was up 2. Once Corey got a game on his side he won the next three and the set.

If you ever have the chance to watch either of these two play one pocket don't pass it up.

Let's see now. Corey beat Scott, and Scott beat Efren. What does that say about Corey's game today?! :)

Minus travel expenses, food and lodging = quite a bit less (you could probably move the decimal one place to the left and be close):)

"This is the business he has chosen"

After the 2nd set Scott was asking Corey to play $300 a game instead of another set. Corey said no to $300 a game - he said he would play another set though. Corey said he gets bored playing one pocket. LOL He did promise Scott he would play him some more in Vegas though.

I'm actually surprised he's not hitting golf balls. Its good to see him out matching up. There was a while there where he was almost quit seemed like. Now he's won a 10 ball, playing Efren's new nemesis and booking a winner. Maybe a SVB rematch is on the way.

I will try and diagram some of his shots later today. I am telling you he was making some sick shit!

Ask Scott if he knows why Ronnie Allen's tires got slashed. :(

I have no idea about that. I am not what I would call "Scott's friend" but I do see him at Kolby's and say hi to him sometimes. I heard they played for 12 hours one day last week. Not sure who won or what happened.

One of the shots that Corey made last night.

He hit this shot with almost perfect pocket speed.

One funny note from last night:

In the 2nd set Scott was giving Corey some crap about his racks so the next time it was Corey's turn to rack he said to Scott "you rack em". Scott racked em up and Corey broke the shit out of em hard. He actually made a ball in his pocket on the break and ran 3 or 4 more then ducked. :):)

Ronnie's tires didn't get slashed, the air was let out.

He said it cost him 140 bucks to get fixed. That's pretty crappy, whoever did it. :(

While this great match-up was going on, Jimmy M was putting on a nice little 98 ball run in our league match a few tables over, and making it look easy. A good night at kolby's. Oh, I didn't win . . .

I lost as well but Mike was only able to put up 19 in a row on me. My high run was 8. It was funny, after the match he said he didn't realize how tight the table was when he agreed to play on it. :) In all reality only 3 or 4 shots of mine were missed because of the tight pockets. All the other misses would have missed on any table :D
