Not sure what the creation date is on this beauty because it was signed with no date. It is a beautiful Cocobolo and Maple Richard Black Hoppe cue with ivory Hoppe ring and flame veneers. Specs are as follows:

Butt=15.1oz
5/16x14 stainless steel joint
Original shaft 1=4.0oz and is 12.38mm.
Original shaft 2=3.8oz and is 12.5mm
Shaft 3 is a Predator blank with matching ringwork which Richard made to match the cue perfectly. It was my playing shaft so it shows a little wear but nothing major and weighs 3.8oz and is 12.73mm with a fairly new Morri Medium tip.
The 2 original shafts are straight, in excellent condition and have unknown layered tips on them.
The cue was refinished by Richard and had the leather wrap installed at that time. The cue is in amazing condition and shows little wear. I would rate it at about 95 percent overall. The cue is one of the best I have ever felt and hit as well. I am currently playing with another one of Richard's cues.
This cue WILL be sold one way or another. I will sell to the highest offer over $1000 (which is a steal as this would be 1800-2000 new) between now and Christmas Day and then it will go to Ebay with NO RESERVE.
Please pm me any other questions or offers. Thank you, Mark

I forgot to mention it is a straight grain maple forearm which produces a very nice hit and sound

Pictures

If the pictures match what I think this cue looks like, I would like to take first shot at it.

Thanks subdude. Not sure why the pics didn't display because they were there when I previewed my listing. This website does some crazy things sometimes. Anyway, yes, that is the cue I am selling and it is a gem.

Yes Kickin Chicken, you are correct. I didn't think the listing was that confusing either. I didn't list a price but if someone makes me an offer I can't refuse then I may sell it outright before Christmas.

By the way Subdude, if my memory serves me correct, I think I bought this Black Hoppe from you. Had Richard refinish it so it was perfect then sent it off to Rick Phillippi for the best boarshide wrap in the business. Still loving it and playing with it.

Sorry folks but Nineballchamp made me that offer that I couldn't refuse so this one is no longer for sale

I think you are right. I had several RB Hoppes. This one and the blue veneered cues were my favorites. Very solid hitters. I forget who I sold the blue to. If I was still in the market for a cue I would probably take this one back. Good luck to you in the sale but it doesn't appear as though you will need it. Take care.
