I think what he is trying to say
I believe what Arnot is trying to say is that this was originally started for/by Blud to give back information that he and other established cuemakers have found by trial and error, and he would like to see what information is coming from who.
I'm not a cuemaker, I only play one in my mind. I have learned quite a bit of information here and it helps me to keep from wasting my time on some mistakes I would have made. Others I test out to make sure that they are mistakes, and make sure I can't make it work because the theory seems sound to me even if someone else couldn't do it.
I don't contribute very often, because I am very conscientious about saying something I don't feel strongly that I am correct about. Some people do not have that "switch" and will proliferate anything they heard someone mention they heard from some other person. It is nice to know what cuemaker is giving their opinion on which subject. While Blud is easy to identify, qmakr and qmaker are also easy to get confused without a signature line. Then you have to go back and see which one is the real Joel Hercek. (Joel actually has his name in his signature, BUT if he didn't you could see the problem).
Mr. Wadsworth is much further along than I in the cuemaking world as he has actually produced cues, hehehe, so his interests are probably much further along than mine. Thus he might want to skip some topics I start, or immediately go to a topic that qmakr starts.
Just an opinion from someone who is still learning from everyone.
