good idea I hate scam artist
There are inherent problems with a "list" like requested.
Who's job is it to prove and refute claims made? Who assumes the liability?
He said, she said, I sent an email 5 min ago and never heard back from you....it was never even chalked...it was in pristine condition....

We already thrash these things out pretty good, I thought.

I see a LIABILITY for Mike aka AZHousePro
There has been a big stink about negative comments regarding www.petswarehouse.com posted on the aquatic plants (as in for fish tanks) mailing list, which resulted in a litany of lawsuits. I'm pretty sure the guy (Robert Novak) hasn't won any of them and the lawsuits are totally frivolous, but you can imagine the legal expenses.

we're the victim yet we've to get into a lot of trouble just to fix things..

If the guy feels he has been screwed, he has a right to state his side of the story. Mr. Engles, likewise, can state his rebuttal, if he feels the claim is not valid. Since Roy has advertised his accusation on the website of his business, I believe Mr. Engles would have legal recourse to seek damages for libel, if Roy cannot substantiate his accusation. Obviously, if Roy is lying, his warning message is reprehensible, but if not, I don't see how it is in poor taste.
