AZ Room Challenges

Weight? Weight??? Nobody gets any weight in the AZ room! It's kill or be killed! Can't you tell by the attitude of the posts?

Well Mike, I have these extra pounds that are hanging around....I can give you those if you really want some weight. Otherwise, it seems that we will be playing even. I mean come on...I'm a girl...You don't really want weight from a girl.

Sarah

hi sarah, i'm sure you get this ? all the time but if a player walks up and ask's to play you for free table time would you ever take them up? ya know for a free lesson, or maybe a beating!:D

Shirts,
I think it is possible that Sarah is a bit too modest. When I had the privilege of visiting one of her hangouts in St. Louis, the players could not stop raving about how accessible Sarah was for the amateurs - always willing to play anyone in the place (for stakes or for free). It is this kind of professional behavior that will take her far; and that helps the advancement of the game. JMO.

P.S. - Here is a link to the post from this summer that describes one of her hangouts (and one of her especially feeble opponents).

P.P.S. - Sarah, I've been practicing like a maniac, and in the words of Tony Montana "I don't need no stinking weight." (well.....at least if the wager is really, really small).

P.P.P.S. - Mike Templeton, you've shamed yourself. What is this "weight" you are missing - could it be the weight of two missing.... Just kidding.

Williebetmore,

Thank you for your kind words again. I don't know, the threat of you practicing is quite scary. Perhaps we could have a rematch at Derby City when things aren't too busy. We can show everyone how the game is supposed to be played. :)

Sarah

OK, OK Sarah and Don. I guess I'll play even.

But just remember......I haven't played in ages, and I can't play on fast felt, and my hands get sweatty, and I just got a new cue, and I need a new tip, and I have a bad back, and I see Elvis' face in the 9 ball :D .

The folks at the pool room were discussing the Derby last night. Looks like there are gonna be a few from my area. I can't wait to see everyone there.

Mike

Mike,

I'm glad you finally came to your senses...excuses and all. I will have to work on my list of excuses in case I lose.

See you soon.

SR,
Yes, scary is a good word to describe my game - especially if you are on an adjacent table, and become the target of my spastic flailings or the cueball as it is launched off the table.

I am up for a re-match though, look me up if you have some time. Small stakes though, I'm not as stupid as I look.

I will have to re-phrase your somewhat incorrect assessment in the last sentence. YOU can show them how the game should be played, I will show them how the balls should be racked (rapidly becoming my area of expertise).:) :)

Good luck at DCC.

Ah...give yourself a little credit, you aren't that scary when you play. We all have our moments.

A rematch sounds great. I will definitely make time for that. I will have to put in a few straight pool practice sessions before then.

You have knowledge of the game, that counts for something. And racking...I do that quite well also. No shame in it at all.

See you soon,
Sarah

If your opponent towers over you to check the rack,u just simply say ``honey u have bad breath``.

HAHA vagabond....possibly some of the best information you have ever given me...I think I used that one a few times after you told me. :)

Hope you are doing well,
Sarah

Extra pounds? RU kidding me? Puh-lease.........

Well, you haven't seen me in awhile..:) Just kidding. It sounded good though..come on. Are you going down there this year??

Hope you are doing well.

Sarah

Probably not going this year due to the Windy City and work. Wish I could be there though. Good luck while you're are there.

Playing Sarah at the DCC

Hey Sarah , its me Tom aka Ratchet from the AZ-1P room ,I was the one you smoked 3-Zip lolol I really enjoyed playing you and more so talking to you and getting to know you a little .You are special , I hope you stay as you are on your climb to the championship ,Sarah took on all comers for 4 hours a day
and often came back to play some more , She was gracious and charming
and by the time I left I kind of thought of her as one of my kids ( The talented one ) Sarah has got game and plenty of it , and her break is phenomenal ,I watched her break and could see the power build up in her and then EXPLODE
,it was a sight to behold . It is obvious that Sarah loves the game and gives back as much as she takes , It is her Desire to win that will propel her to her quest to be the best and I wish her nothing but success and hopefully the next autograph I get from her says Sarah Rousey WPBA Champion. I also forgot to mention that many of the male pros that came to the room seemed quite fond and supportive of Sarah and I saw many giving her pointers which she readily accepted, they seemed like doting teammates the night before the big game .......... Good Luck in all you hope to achieve and as always
Good Shooting !

I love ya & You go girl !
I am proud to call you friend
(if not adopted daughter)

Thank you for your kind words. I greatly appreciate them. I hope you had a great time at your first Derby City. By the looks of thinsgs you were having a great time. See you next year!

Sarah
