I had the chance of buying a Josey Sneaky pete for $250 a couple of years back and turned down the offer. I never heard of Josey cues and didnt even bother to try the cue or anything. Years later, I come to find out that these are very good cues. Now I ask the AZB community to please tell me why these cues are so good.

Over the years, Josey cues have been used and highly regarded by many knowledgeable players. Keith takes pride in his techniques, and like all makers of things worth having, continually evaluates and refines. I truly treasure my Josey cue. Beautifully designed and executed, Solid crisp hit with excellent feed back. It bumps good

They have a really good hit and feel. They are nice looking too. I have never heard a bad comment about them.

They are very good, if you use the "search" function, you'll find many, many posts about them.

One more thing....

Thanks for the feedback guys. One more thing how does the hit on a Josey compare to, let's say, a Predator cue or Schon cue? I've shot with a predator and a Schon so I know how those two feel.

Tony Watson hits the balls pretty good. I remember when he got his Josey cue, he was thrilled, had waited for it for a little while, and he said the hit was the best!

Love my Josey. To the point I can say it's saving me money because I no longer look for a magic cue...

Im getting one!!!!

I tried looking for a 60" Josey sneaky but to no avail. I called up Keith's shop and am having one made. Bacote/BEM, black joint and butt cap and one shaft. Six month wait but I think it's going to be worth it. Thanks guys.

they are great people but most importantly they make great cues. i had 2 made and the experience was great. very nice hitting cue.

Keith and Sheri care about their customers and the quality of their product. My Josey plays superbly. Keith refinished and upgraded the wrap recently...fast, fair and excellent work. I would chose a Josey over most and never look back.

In my experience, nothing like either. Much firmer than a predator, harder, if you prefer. Schon cues have steel joints and don't hit like wood to wood.

I have two, a sneaky, and a fancy one from the 2011 us open. The Josey family understands customer satisfaction, plus make amazing looking cues that play top notch. His sneaks will make you use your Schon and predators for firewood.

Everyone who shoots with mine is in love.

Buy a josey - you'll never regret it. The cues are as good as the cue maker- and Keith is awesome people

FWIW I liked the one I tried a few years ago. It seemed to be very well made an played like you would expect a good cue to.

Keith and Sherri are two of the best people you will ever deal with. I look forward to seeing them every year at the US Open and they always greet me like i'm one of their best friends. I like to check out the new cues that Keith has for sale at the Open.

I regret selling a fancy cue that Keith made for me a couple of years ago and maybe i'll get another one of his cues one day. You can't go wrong dealing with Keith and Sherri.

I have 2 of Keith's cues, an 80's SW, 2 Runde's, and a Mottey. One of the Joseys is a one-off 15 point, the other is solid ebony. These are the 2 I usually play with. Hit with a Josey sometime and you will see why.

I will echo what another poster stated...when I had my Josey, I quit looking for anymore cues....I loved it that much! I am still not looking for another cue, just to be able to get that one back.
