I'm supposed to play one person some 1p for $1000 a game. He is going to spot me 10-6. Ain't that right, Don? :D

I'm supposed to play a few people, nothing serious, just fun.

I talked to Mike about that last week ~ AZB VS CCB He mentioned something about next year at Derby. I am looking forward to. We should start getting our team or teams together.

I think the members here (AZ billiards) should play the (billiards digest) members ! :) :)

Well we could get a couple of 5 man teams together at the Open in Sept. Maybe play on Thursday night. We already have our own little tournament on Saturday afternoon. Maybe you have heard of it. It is called the Annual International CCB Tournament. gotta put international in there cuz we do get players from Canada. It is always a great tournament and everybody has fun. And we always go out to dinner on Friday night. Last year Grady Matthews and his lovely wife graced us with his presence. This year i plan on asking Tommy Kennedy if he would like to join us at dinner. Anyway, we could get together at the Open. Why wait until the derby City Classic. Hey, maybe we can get barry to donate the tables for it. He does for our Saturday tournament. Just a thought..........................mike

You're on! I'm gonna warn you though...it takes me less than 10 innings to get out. In 3 ball.

Maybe it'd be fun to have a sandbagging competition between forums ;)

oh damn..........now i'm gonna need the wild 3 and the crack.

I've got a match scheduled with FLICKit. 12 rounds. 10 point must scoring.

Since he's an APA player, we only get 10% of the purse. Terry Bell will have his hair spiked (if he's out of prison) when he picks up the remaining 90%.

Teacherman has to spot FLICKit 2 rounds. (he wouldn't play without a handicap) Inexchange, FLICKit has to place the coaster on the exact spot of the ring where he expects the knock punch will be thrown.

Hi Folks,

I'm in!!!! I get there Thursday evening. Playing in the Senior's event. Cueball, we gotta match up in three cushion somewhere. I need a lesson bad. Teach, you gonna be there? Our room owner is supposed to come down for the weekend. Perhaps you two can sit and talk. Some straight talk would sure be helpful! The room owner needs all the suggestions and input possible. Not sure who to trust or believe.

Hi, VAP! :) Looking forward to seeing you at SBE next week!

You'll appreciate this little saga. Last Tuesday, I'm sitting on the rail watching the local weekly tournament in Laurel. Mike Davis gets knocked out early by Alvin Thomas and is looking for "action."

Mike comes up to ME and offers me the 3 and out, with all the breaks. I haven't played pool competitively in 20-plus years, but I figure there ain't nobody on the face of this earth who can give ME the 3 and out, with all the breaks. :p

I win the first game and am feeling mighty comfy! :D

But that was all she wrote -- or I should say "all she shot," as Mike Davis drilled me to the tune of 9 games.

If I get to play in the AzBilliards versus CCB competition, I'm getting me a pinch shooter! ;)

Jenn,

I think there is someone you know who can do that job quite nicely. How did Keith do in Berlin? Reno would have been a waste. Too much woofin. No action. Only saw T-rex play one guy all week. Didn't go over to Diamond Billiards. Something may have been going on there. At least twenty world beaters there. I'm very pleased just to have cashed in that field! Gabe Owen played great eight ball. Edwin Montel was very sharp in the nine ball. Had a GREAT time with Ronnie Allen. Want to write his life story? He needs someone. See you next week!

We didn't go to the Joss tournament in Berlin, but I was pleased to see my homeboys make it to the top, Mike Davis in first place and Genie Man coming in fourth.

Ronnie Allen is a gem, and he's full of great road stories. He called us up from Reno and sounded like he was in good spirits.

I'm bringing my tape recorder with me to the Super Billiards Expo in hopes to get a couple of interviews of some players. I'm anxious to hook up with Jimmy Reid again. When he gets going, he's a hoot!

AND congratulations are in order to you, Cardiac Kid, for your high finish at the Joss' Turning Stone Casino event. You done good, Kid! :)
