AZB Pool Tournament at BCAPL in Vegas!

Sorry for the delay. Either my internet was jacked for a night or I had one too many! I will leave that for ya'll to decide! ;)

I had a great time meeting up with everyone.

Congratulations to JRHendy for a nice win! That young man has a LOT of game left! I have updated the brackets so for full results go to http://challonge.com/azb

Thanks goes to Mark Griffin for allowing us to have a spot to play!

Had a blast!

It was a pleasure watching you play John.

I hope we are able to do something like this again!

It was nice to meet you guys!

Those boys from West Virginia played real good! We had quite a few very solid players.

It was a pleasure!

They were both really nice guys, too. I couldn't have lost to a nicer guy than SPB. ShapeChaser was kind enough to let me take a close look at his beautiful cue, JRHendy had some great stories, and he seems to have played everyone who ever picked up a cue. Had a few minutes to chat with Tuscon9ball. Really liked his game, too. Played a few racks with Okie, who unfortunately had to sit out the tournament, and I could tell that he was antsy to hit some balls. We had a good time playing "pushing out/playing safe is for sissies", but I could tell he would have smoked me if we got serious. Of course, so could everyone else in that tournament,

All in all, I think 21 out of 42 players showing up to a tournament they signed up for on the internet weeks before without having to pay an online entry fee is pretty good. I'd do it again for sure next year,

I enjoyed playing with you. But I hate playing safe....ask Tuscon9ball. All he had to do was give me just the thought that I could make a ball and I would fire at it!

Give me 2 shot shoot out over BIH any day!

If ya'll are ever in Oklahoma City on a Friday or Wednesday night look me up at Jamaica Joe's for a tournament! We have a lot of fun and the equipment is tops!

I had fully intended on playing. Unfortunately I didn't find out more specifics on the actual date, time, location (room/tables) before I left to drive out to Vegas. I will admit I didn't pay the extra internet fees at the Rio so I was relying on using a smartphone and just couldn't find the thread. At least that's what I'm sticking to......:thumbup::thumbup:

If your smartphone was working like mine I completely understand. My smartphone was sporting an IQ of about 50 in Vegas! ATT was most disappointing!

We had 14 AZ'ers in the tourney out of the 21. I felt that was pretty good all things considered.

Maybe next time!
