Timberly,

Since you have the most rep points, you must be the most knowledgable poster here correct?

Why was Rude Dog banned for 6 months, and yet others such as Drivermaker were banned permanently?

Thanks

Shorty, why don't you ask Mr. Wilson yourself? This time be more realistic and whine about you getting permanently banned instead of using DM as a scape goat.

You might want to be careful... it's not like they don't know it's you. If you start in with this stupid stuff, I'm sure they'll start kicking you off as fast as you can make a screen name.

Excuse me? My name is Isaac Maycotte.

I didn't mean to put you on the spot, I just see you post often and thought maybe you could provide some valuable insight.

That's all.

Hey everyone,
This thread started out as a woderful thread that everyone really enjoyed. But like so many other threads, it is getting sidetracked with personal issues.

Timberly and others: In the spirit that this thread was created, let's not get into mudraking and the other crap.

I am sorry, I did not mean to take this thread off on a tangeant. I also apologize to Timberly, she obviously is not the controller of this site like I thought.

In the spirit of the thread:

DCP: What did I do wrong on this shot? But I don't like your answer!

lol, how old are you guys? 12? I've been reading the posts in this thread and others. It seems that everybody blames everybody else for everything! Timberly seems to have a thing for pro pool players and when someone voices their opinion about them they get berrated. I thought that this forum was for opinions. Am I wrong? Why can't two or more people disagree about things without getting all worked up and tattle tailing. Seems childish to me.

Very interesting. I looked for a moment and must admit, I would love to hear how it is that all these posters share something in common.

They all have IP addresses that trace to a banned character named Shorty.

Mind helping me understand how that is?

"Since you have the most rep points, you must be the most knowledgable poster here correct?" Are you going to tell me that wasn't a smart alleck jab? There's only 3 people that ever whined about rep points...shorty was one of them.

Yes you are wrong. I don't "have a thing for pro pool players". I am friends with a lot of them because quite a few of them played pool in the same area that I did before they were pros. You don't stick up for your friends when someone that doesn't know them makes stupid, derrogatory comments about them? You should... thats what a true friend would do... stick up for their friends.

I've asked those that I do not get along with to please ignore me as if they never met me... put me on ignore, don't post to me, etc... if we act like we never knew each other then things will be fine. Some cannot do that. I've added 3 to my ignore list in the last 24 hrs. It appears that I will be adding more. Not that they care, but so that they know, when they address me, I will not be seeing it.

I enjoy coming on here and joking with friends and I genuinely enjoy being helpful. I'm not going to let a few bad seeds ruin that.

I agree. I also stick up for my friends, but if someone else posts something about someone or what that person did or didn't do, who are you or me or anyone else to say that it's not true. All we can do is speculate and give our OPINION as to the situation.

If we know something to be the truth or an untruth, wouldn't the right thing to do, would be to tell the truth so that people aren't telling lies about people?

Exactly my point. The specific instance I'm referring to is a while back a few guys I know from hanging around the pool hall had a rift with a certain prominent professional to whom you always come to the rescue. I watched while they told the exact story , as it happened in front of my eyes, and a few people on here lambashed them as telling lies and picking on the pro. My point is that just because you like certain pool players or people in general, you should not comment on a situation where you weren't there as to the validity of the story. I've read a ton of stories on here like the ones posted by Freddy the Beard that will be in his book. A few of them are far fetched and some people called him out on it, but I wasn't there so who am I to say they aren't true?

Knowing what area you're in, I knew this was coming.... I figured that was the story you were leading up to. That particular person is a friend of mine. (just friends, never more, FYI). If I'm friends with someone and they tell me something themselves, in person, I believe them until it's proven that they lied to me. If that person lied to me then there's nothing that I can do, I can only go on what the person told me.

Without dredging up that whole thing... IIRC, everyone on here that was there, admitted that they did not see him partake in any of that, correct?

Just like with any place, there are some unsavory people in the pool world. I've seen these people take it upon themselves to try to set up something shady in hopes that they can talk someone into going along with it once they got it set up. Could that be what you saw?

I personally have been a victim of pool room BS. When I left SC to move to TX, I couldn't get out of SC fast enough. I was young, skinny, attractive, single, and I wouldn't give any of them the time of day. I dated one person in the pool room and that was it. When we broke up and I wouldn't give the others the time of day... they started talking about me. To hear them tell it, I had been with every pool player within a 100 mile radius, I was a groupie, blah, blah, blah...none of it true. I simply loved playing pool, was decent at it, and I enjoyed watching good pool, and there was a ton of it there back then. I had to endure all of their BS lies simply because I liked to play pool.

Yeah, when I see people say bad things about good people, I stand up for them. When someone I know to be a good person tells me something, I believe them until it's proven to me that they lied.

And that is fine, I have no problem in the world with that. Just as long as you say that your information is second hand. I think we are beating a dead horse. I just wanted to make my thoughts known as it pertains to the direction that this thread was taking. The other point was that this was childish and now I too feel like a 12 year old, lol.

Esp about the players. There are some genuinely nice guys out there trying to get sponsorship and people posting lies about them can affect that. Some have even called me, said they heard about or saw something on here and would I please make a post stating the truth. Not unlike WBM did for Geroge. I think we are beating a dead horse. I agree that this thread turned childish, that's why I started adding names to my ignore list. I try not to because if people post in response to something someone said, you can kind of get lost if you don't know what they're referring to. However, I'm not too worried about that with this group of people I have on ignore...they don't post anything of any value anyway so I won't be missing anything. ;)

Hey T,

Who's Geroge? :D

See what happens when I look over a thread without reading...I should know it's a doozie by the number of posts.

Koop

P.S. Send me a PM about next Saturday. It's definite that I will be heading down.
