AZBers in 20 words or less

Everyone needs to step away from the key board and cool off.

First, as far as I can tell, Mr. Maycotte is just unfortunate enough to share an IP with shorty ( httpe1.northgrum.com ) and since shorty was kind enough to generate about a dozen personas, I was immediately suspicious.

Time has past and I am very satisfied that he has nothing to do with him. It was an error to associate him with shorty. I apologise for having his name in the same context as shorty.

It looks like I have been too generous. I hate being wrong and I hate worse having doubted my own judgement and others that this was shorty all along.

That said, people need to quit worrying about whos' who and moderation.

If someone tells me that so and so is back posting after they are banned, I'll check. In that check, Mr. Maycotte came back in the search. This is not due to any wrong doing on his part.

Timberley and Deb, your feud is long and old. I don't expect either of you to get over it, but don't bring it here any more.

Bruce, I strongly advise you not get in this one.

Folks, summer is ending and all our friends will be coming back to the board and it will get busier.

Don't you want to be here when they get back?

There's plenty of room for the people that can't get along to avoid each other. If they can't avoid each other on thier own, I'll be left with no choice other than removal of people.

Please don't make it that way.

Why was Rude Dog banned for 6 months, and yet others such as Drivermaker were banned permanently?

Thanks

Only Mike (AZHousePro) or Mr. Wilson can answer that question. As they are the one who made or make this discussions...

Maybe if you PM them they will share with you the whys of what they do?

I just noticed your new avatar, Mr. Wilson. I remember Quick Draw McGraw! :D

I remember spending quite a few Saturday mornings watching cartoons as a young'n. What happened to those cartoons, Yogi Bear, Quick Draw McGraw, Felix the Cat, Tom Terrific, and Bullwinkle?

Top Cat was my all-time FAVORITE! :p

Long and old...funny considering nothing went on here at AZ betweeen to the two of us. When it comes to myself and Deb, please take note of A) who posted to who, B) did you read what I said to her back in Feb that I re-posted asking her to please ignore me as if she never knew who I was? C) Knowing you can see all, did you happen to see that she's on my ignore list, or have you read the PM's where I've stated to others that I have her on ignore and that I truly do wish that she would go away or at the very least simply act as if she doesn't know me?

She posted to me and I defended myself and I get called out for it...imagine that. There's more than just Deb's usual mantra that's long and old. Once again, snide remarks and calling people out when you should've sent them PM's... We'll never see eye to eye and unfortunatley you can't put a moderator on your ignore list. I guess it's time to take another break from this place before I end up getting myself permanently banned because I don't agree with the way the moderator conducts himself.

I think everyone forgot how much fun they were. Maybe they thought they wern't funny no more :(

I wish they'd bring back the ones we grew up loving...violence, smoking, stereotypes and all.

I know this isn't on topic...but I just saw Hong Kong Phooey for sale on DVD, I GOT TO HAVE IT!

And in keeping with the topic:
Mr. Wilson: I am the law.

*wink* My favorite Judge Dred quote.

As a matter of fact, your avatar isn't Quick Draw McGraw, or is it? I think his name was "El Kabong," if memory serves me right! :p

I think I've seen every single Popeye cartoon. I loved Popeye, Sweet Pea, Olive Oil, Brutus, and Wimpie. Bluto was a demon. As much as my parents tried, though, I never did take a liking to spinach. The old cartoons were definitely the BEST! :)

Tap-tap. Mr Wilson I often think you have too heavy a hand in your moderator responsibilities and I haven't minded saying it in the past. However, when you post one of the most cogent post I've seen in a while I don't mind saying so either. Well done.

El Kabong was Quick Draw's alter ego, crime fighter extraordinaire :D

I don't care what decade's culture we have, but I sure would like to bring back my age from the 60's and 70's... LOL.

Ok, we'll do it this way:

You need an attitude adjustment and I won't take this from you.

This is your second warning....... a self fulfilling prophesy or whatever.

How is it that when a perfectly good lighthearded thread that is infiltrated by politics, you immediately lash out and attack people for ruining it and get political threads put on the watchlist.
In the meantime, when there is a very entertaining thread that YOU feel the need to air your dirty laundry in and destroy it in the process, it's a O.K.
You need to practice what you preach and not be a hypocrite.
Seems like it's ok when this forum becomes your personal boxing ring, but when someone else wants to fight, and it happens to annoy you....

There is a web site (or maybe more than one) dedicated to old cartoons. It contains sound files of many of the cartoons intros and theme songs.

I was always partial to Thundar the Barbarian.
