Man, I really should of payed more attention to this guy when I played at College Billiards in San Diego sometimes. He used to play with Sam Manoale and they both play excellent pool.

Ullrich seems to be doing REAL well against the best in the world right now. Keep it going, Louis, you're doing great.

What is the deal with Archer and Mika though? Johnny gets wiped out 7-0 in the first match and only gets a game in the rematch after winning a number of sets on the loser's side.

I was thinking the same thing about johnny, what is it about Mika that made him get smoked like that.

As far as Louis' concerned, him and Dan Wallace were and are obviously world beaters, People underestimate the players out of San Diego(and yes I know Louis is no longer out of San Diego), expect to see a couple more world beaters come out of San Diego in the next couple of years also.

I played Sam once in a tournament and he was stroking like a champ. He was offering anyone in the room games of last pocket bank 8-ball for 500 a game. It was during a Fast Eddie's event and noone took him up on it.

Yeah Poolnut, when Sam was living in Victoria I got to play against him a few times and couldn't believe someone with those coke bottles over his eyes could shoot so straight. He robbed the insurance game in town with Parica shooting in front of him. The guy sure got around to all of the tournaments too, a buddy of mine and I couldn't believe we saw him and Al Mason in Kennedy at a bar that didn't even serve liquor lol...
