Does a "B player" beat the 9ball ghost in your neck of the woods? A "B Player" here is about even money to beat the 6 ball ghost in a race to 7.
I doubt that. Your B players must be a little better than our B players.
I think we just have a different rating scale here.
C player beats the 4 ball ghost, B player beats the 6 ball ghost, A player beats the 9ball ghost, open player spots the 9ball ghost

Plus the time you had to wait around between matches. The time involved in playing small tournaments for the small payouts just isn't worth it to me. If you go to a bigger tournament with better payouts you'll be going up against one top player after another and unless you play pretty strong you won't last long. I don't know what the answer is to improve pool. I read somewhere on the forum about the payout money in pool today versus what it was years ago and it hasn't gone up over the years to keep up with inflation and much higher expenses to go to big tournaments. I remember when Earl won the US Open in 2000 for his 5th US Open title the top prize for first was $50,000 and it isn't near that much to win the same US Open today! Pro Pool hasn't progressed since the demise of the Camel Pro Tour back in the 90's when there was some descent money to win for the pro players!

Some tournaments I feel like Methuselah must have felt when he was in his nine hundreds and then at other times, I have nice, young, talented opponents who kick the 8 ball in by accident and give me lots of shots. That makes me feel young again.

I like the idea of juicing veggies and fruit. I just don't think you get the same benefit from herbal supplements but I could be wrong. My game is suffering but I'm not ready to quit just yet.

La Dolce on Metairie Road is the place for juice. It takes 10-15 minutes for them to make it.
