Legends has it that they were using some sort of plastic for the veneer instead of wood. making it look forever radiant.......forever new.........

Actually if you look closely the V in the veneer is one piece not 2 pcs. glued together.Funny how you can look at something over and over and not see.Looks like the "legends" are true. Thanks for the insight.
